Personal wish list: 1. Analytics – to track follower numbers and reach for my non-profit institute’s account. Doesn’t have to be fancy, enough for a few lines in the annual report. 2. Edits – to correct typos, not change whole posts. 3. Scheduling – so I can edit posts until scheduled time.

Turn off re-posts on a per account basis. I don't want to turn them off for everyone, as some interesting stuff can come to your attention from them, but other people have a tendency to spam them.

If you can make Bluesky more safer from harassers and stalkers on my end would be amazing. Cause safety is the MOST important of this point. I’m getting off of Bluesky starting today because it’s not 100% safe for me from those harassers and people who are trying to dox me

In particular on my app (Android), when I click a link to read an article and come back to the Bluesky app, bluesky reloads the latest posts and I can't find the one I just found the article link on, so I can't like and repost it. I wanted the app to save my place.

I've been thinking about this more, and perhaps a minimal first step would be: If you have a post or thread open, then when the app reloads, it reloads to that post or thread.

Muting a thread doesn't mean I want to stop seeing my own comments or replies, just stop receiving notifications. many times I go to my profile, to the "replies" section, and most of them are simply gone; I've lost them forever.

For gods sake put up a filter against attention-seeking grown men in diapers, women showing their coochies or boobs, and other really vulgar, sexualized posts and accounts. If BSKY people REALLY want that crap here make it an opt-in option, not a block-report-hide requirement.

I find it hard to believe —more like impossible — that someone who's been here long enough to make over 4k posts and reposts hasn't come across the moderation options that are very easy to find and implement. If those options leave out categories or types of content, suggest they be added.

atproto records (bsky posts) will NEVER be editable. Once created, they cannot be changed. However, bluesky will likely build 'edit' records that reference previous posts. When the app shows a post, it will show the most recent edit instead. I'd expect it to allow anyone to view the history.

i have to go to settings > switch acct > select acct, on my phone. in the bird app, you just click on the profile pic to switch from either the RT/text box/reply box. so like less steps. i used to use tweetdeck when i was on there, also easier.

I know the request for an edit option is popular but I'd really like a way to separate my posts from my reposts. If not also separate, quote posts should go in the posts category as they have commentary added and reposts only have the original post material.

Definitely can see it being a feed 🤔 And @graze.social does have features that make a feed private-only. So tech wise idk how that works. Maybe off protocol? Or since they already shared the public bookmarks maybe they just start public

Is this just a ploy to get us to list our own most-wanted features…? 2x speed on videos would be great. Also custom preview placement on 2+ image posts—just so annoying posting without knowing exactly where the images will crop on multi-image posts, particularly vertical oriented and mixed images.
