Bluesky’s green support button for profile links doesn’t include GitHub Sponsors. It sucks that it doesn’t count, but I suppose there’s nothing I can do about it… 😔

iOS 27.2 talking about Siri AI in the updates and I’m just sat here like 🧍🏻‍♂️

At least I can use it on my Mac? It’s not too useful but at least it’s not in my face.

I was drunk. I don’t remember posting this. Still true though.

it’s funny how anti-AI people will talk about how “AI” is a really broad umbrella term and that we need to keep in mind that there are lots of types of “AI”, but then they are always the first ones to jump to wild conclusions about what kind of AI I’m referring to when I say “AI” lol

my nuclear-grade AI hot take that’s sure to get me cancelled until kingdom come is that refusing to use AI at all is rapidly becoming an extremely privileged lifestyle choice that feels social justice-y while actually being the complete opposite

AI/LLMs are a major accessibility technology — being against this technology is to be against advancing human accessibility, and i think there’s a case to be made that it’s borderline ableist

hey @aidancat.bsky.social can you confirm?

there's a burger chain in toronto that sells "california style" burgers, which means that the buns are inverted. not a thing in california. im losing my mind at how stupid this fuckin burger looks. i can't believe they sell this as a regional specialty.

friends have you heard the good news about git?

conputer dipshit@davidcrespo.bsky.social

this is a bit of a trend right now and there's a good reason people are thinking about it in terms of granular version control. when you work with people in real time on something complicated you need to be able to time travel on a whim, backtrack, etc

When I said I was concerned about advanced conversational AI, I probably should have clarified that I’m actually good with them so long as they are easily identifiable as a non-human. I think Mistral’s latest demo looks good.

New advanced voice model from Jack Dorsey / Block that is made specifically for conversations. Called Dessa. Pretty spooky if it’s as good as the sample demos they published here. Her, the movie, has arrived? block.xyz/dessa
