Turn off re-posts on a per account basis. I don't want to turn them off for everyone, as some interesting stuff can come to your attention from them, but other people have a tendency to spam them.

It’s edits but I bet you won’t do it and I argue that you shouldn’t do edits. I think you would all be correct in generally prioritizing having feature parity with twitter as your “North Star”

I know the request for an edit option is popular but I'd really like a way to separate my posts from my reposts. If not also separate, quote posts should go in the posts category as they have commentary added and reposts only have the original post material.

... users a robust moderation/filtration system to curate their feed and experience on the platform, seems like a no-brainer. Yes, I can extend my thoughts by hitting the + button and adding more content. But is it efficient or elegant? No, it's not. I still have to think and write in fragments.

If Twitter or Facebook had this horrible thing, you'd quickly figure out what a bad idea it is. Nobody is going to spend time on a platform when they find out that the people they're replying to can make all their replies vanish. Way to make an echo-chamber.

Are you insane? That's also how people "disappear" facts and counterargument to when they're spreading bullshit. Do you even think about the implications??
