Two days of MCM ComicCon done and managed (with a great deal of queuing) to get all the OG Critical Role cast signatures and some photo ops. Please ignore the head injury I managed to get on the way there though

If I look mildly confused and concussed in the group photo and the one with Ashley Johnson, then it’s probably because I was. Slipping on wet paving and then headbutting concrete steps is not a good way to start your day. Hand and knee are pretty messed up too.

The God of Bad Art gets offerings from all over the world, but in Their temple, They sometimes appear. "Why bad art?" I ask. "It is brave", the God replies. "To try and fail?" "No," the God chuckles. "Any creative work is a defiance of entropy, of Death itself. If you create, you do not fail."

It's so funny seeing the press do a whole "But is the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street a good thing?" thing. Pedestriaisation ALWAYS works. Always. Bit of a bump when it switches and then, almost immediately, life/commerce roars into the fill the gaps left by diesel fumes. Love this for London

Years ago while I was still developing the whole meme format, I toyed with the idea of having a "Punny Pavel" spin-off. Never really got the traction that Jellico did. #StarTrek #JellicoTrek Rest in Piece Walter. You were the absolute best as Bester.

"This could have been an email." Aragorn whispers. "He ALWAYS pulls this shit in 'Any Other Business" Boromir replies, quietly. "It's why Faramir marked himself as busy when the invite went out."

Elrond tells the long story of the One Ring, from its forging in the Mountain of Fire, to its betrayal of Isildur at the Gladden Fields. Frodo is startled to learn that Elrond himself marched with Gil-Galad in the Last Alliance against Sauron, more than three thousand years ago.

For an organisation so desperate to save money, the BBC seems to have an unusually large visual effects budget to spend on covering or removing queer flags and slogans.

30 minute klaxon to the classic British horror, NIGHT OF THE DEMON (1957) at 9:10pm #TPTVsubtitles

Any of my nerdy mutuals at MCM Comic Con this weekend? Think I might need to engage maps and spreadsheets to make sure I get to everything I need to.

Also, I have a spare ticket for the Critical Role live show at the O2 on Monday if anyone is interested. Managed to get a last minute fan experience ticket for myself, so my original ticket is available

Yeah I don't actually think Burnham realises that if he turned around said "this is completely fucked" and immediately put forward legislation to bring us back into line with human rights standards – LGBT+ people would be organising street parties.

"I have been challenged to a duel," she said. "For kissing a woman." "Did she consent?" the swordmaster said. "Yes, but men courting her did not." "Ah. How many?" "Are these men good?" She gave three names. "Far below your level." "Excellent!" She rose. "There are more women I want to kiss."
