Just watched Joshua's great launch presentation at @chicago.at - very cool project! Can't wait to dig in 🎵
It started with a dream 20 years ago... 10 months of work with a lot of help from the AT Proto community, Bluesky, and friends. FreeMix is live!!! Open to all and all genres welcome. Free to join. I can't wait to see what you create. (oh and some exclusive tracks by me ready to be remixed)

ooo this is exciting! an insta-adopt feature for me.
atuin v18.24 is out now! 🐢✨ including "atuin threads": sync and search your ai threads across devices, and resume them anywhere you can start a thread in Claude on your server, and pick it up in Codex on your laptop run "atuin resume" to get started
Also I'm jazzed about Petal from the CoScreen folks. Very cool of them to try and build something acquisition-proof for the community after experiencing "our incredible journey"-fication first hand 🪻 petal.live

I've been working on a self-hosted uptime checker in Elixir to help dogfood Miren's support. I'm interested in having the probe be very detailed about timings across the network stack, with extra checks that run on failure to try and distinguish network path blips from real failures.
Miren v0.17 is out! Elixir and Phoenix apps get first-class support in this release. Just `miren init && miren deploy` and your assets and migrations are handled for you. Check out our guide here: miren.md/guides/elixir
I'm planning to go to my first ATproto meetup next week 🤓 It's felt like there's a lot of good energy coming out of the space. I'm excited to learn more and meet folks in the local community! 🌐🌈

Rep. Delia C. Ramirez has introduced a bill that would abolish not just ICE, but the DHS altogether, repealing the 2002 law establishing the agency and replacing it with one focused on protecting civil and human rights.

Starting my journey to SYCL! softwareyoucanlove.ca/about/ I love small single-track tech conferences with a point of view. Can’t wait to meet some rad folks and watch some rad talks.
working on better elixir support in @miren.dev with @evanphx.dev and things are getting a little weird 🐦🔥♻️
@evanphx.dev are you gonna start calling everything you push "the Phoenix code" from now on?

Some nice little things in this one, with some bigger stuff cooking under the hood that I'm extra excited about, but that'll have to wait 🤫
Miren 0.15 out today! In addition to a number of bug fixes, this one has some nice features such as `miren top` and better support for booting your app off an image outside of Miren. Enjoy keeping an eye on those node/app/sandbox resources and we'll see you out there! miren.md/changelog#v0...

We're excited to announce early access to our Managed Clusters product! Request access on miren.dev/pricing! Miren has always been focused on self-hosted, but there are many of you that have asked if instead Miren could run the cluster for them. The answer is now yes!

Impossible to overstate how much of my soul is imbued into this post. I wanted to push the boundaries of the web as an education platform. Why _shouldn’t_ we run Kubernetes in the browser to demonstrate for-real what happens, and let you influence it? Hope you love it. 🫶
What do a port of Kubernetes to TypeScript and a high-priority bug in the kubelet have in common? They both feature in @samwho.dev's guide to probing, out now. We're experimenting with what next-generation k8s education looks like, and we hope you love it.

Deploying apps on the web has always been a major turn off for me - it feels like being gifted a litter of puppies. Assorted pain reduction services exist with tamagotchi rental economics. And then I discovered miren.dev. I have absolutely no association with them. I am just genuinely in awe.
