In Hellraiser Heaven, my podcast favs Free with Ads are talking about my recent obsession! I watched all the Hellraiser movies over the summer. They really vary in quality but I kind of like the awful Henry Cavill one (the 8th?). Loved hearing about Emily's trip to Wasteland. @maximumfun.org

I stand by my comments.

At around the 18:00 mark, Jill and I explain our family technique of the rudest and funniest way to respond to a boring story at the dinner table. It works best if you do it discreetly so the storyteller doesn’t notice.

“Capturing Bigfoot” is absolutely about the famous film of Bigfoot. But even more than that it’s about an extraordinary and fascinating family and their community. Just a really riveting human story. 🫈

Laci hosts my favorite non-MaxFun podcast, so I am--what? that's right--EXCITED about this one

Greg Proops is a very hard working comic with a bunch of upcoming tour dates. The craziest day of his career? It wasn’t on the road, or on the set of Whose Line. It was the time he was cast in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, and being on set with George Lucas. www.npr.org/2026/10/16/n...

On Monday's @depreshmode.bsky.social, I got to tell E of the band Eels that "Hey Ya" is, lyrically, a profoundly sad song. Or at least a kind of bleak and resigned one. He didn't know that. Please realize that I do not take the Neat! quality of my job for granted.

Nostalgia may be a toxic impulse, but this commercial for Grand Prospect Hall may be the exception
