Whoever puts tooltips everywhere in GCP needs to get fired. I'm fed up of having useless tooltips blocking my mouse from clicking anything.

If you run a dev tool which requires integration, do your conversations a favour and include a "use AI to integrate" button everywhere it makes sense.

I set up my custom code harness to be able to use online LLM APIs and set it up with GLM 5.3 Flash. €0.50 in total for today. Getting more convinced I no longer need Claude.

A year after announcing our goal to hire 1,111 interns, more than 750 early-career builders have shipped real products across 48 teams at Cloudflare. From Birthday Week launches to post-quantum security, our interns prove that AI amplifies human potential. https://cfl.re/4yvrphv #BirthdayWeek

Someone asked Muse to dump its entire virtual machine file system, and it did

TJ McIntyre@tjmcintyre.com

Muse has just dumped its entire filesystem, and the instructions include "keep a page for every person in the user's life" with "the nature of the user's relationship with this person: how close they are, what it is built on, how they act with each other, and what it seems to need right now."

Spent last night setting up a new server within a vpc for logging and redis down the line. The server is fully off the internet, only accessible via wireguard, and directly to other servers via the vpc. Did I ever say how much I love wireguard?

Wrote a mini log ingestion tool. A docker app which makes use of SQLite. Search, streaming, auto purge. Put it in a VPC, happy days. Perfect for when you have a few apps whose logs want to keep on top of. Going to try open source it in coming days.h

To everyone complaining about needing to buy Meta One to post a link: own your distribution through your own mailing list and RSS. Stop supporting walled gardens.

If you're running an MLX (qwen3.8) model on Ollama, update to a version after v0.32.14 which _should_ fix a KV cache memory release issue. You'll save ram and hopefully stop swapping.

Start of the month, was updating personal finance spreadsheet. Realised I could get an LLM to write me a single html file which writes values to a CSV and displays everything exactly how I want it. Super simple. Way clearer at a glance.

I kinda stop relating when it's like "I need to be able to manage my 10 agents running on cloud linux boxes from my phone while walking down the street to get a coffee" like just go get a coffee. let your brain chill and think
