Both of these results today go to show just how antifascists can mobilise. Fascists have an entire apparatus to make their victory feel inevitable. It is not. To crush hope. But hope lives on whilst we keep it alive.

at least the Brazilians can count the votes quickly. In the UK we'd be waiting at 3am for the declaration from the constituency of lower Wigson on sea.

Polling institute Datafolha projects that Lula has been re-elected president of Brazil!!! The projection comes with 75% of the votes counted, showing Lula with 51.11% of the valid votes, while Flávio has 48.89%. According to the projection, it is no longer possible for the result to be reversed.

Bolsonaro-friendly mayors appear to be sabotaging public transport on Election Day. Buses aren’t running in Lula-friendly areas, flights and ferries mysteriously canceled. Traffic lights have gone out and people’s power cut in Salvador, indigenous people’s travel restricted

We are watching a coup d’état attempt unfold in real time in Brazil. I’m consumed by desperation.

Small dick energy.

“Palantir cofounder and CEO Alex Karp states ‘AI will undermine the influence of highly educated, often female voters and give it to working class men. We have feminine energy running our cities and our courts,’ he complained.”

So I asked ChatFactFree AI about respected sources on an accused rapists move to the far right. It gave me Tucker Carlson & shows how dangerous AI is in being programmed to be far right in outlook.

Childline made it both acceptable and familiar for children and young people to seek help anonymously over the phone, and led to many youth helplines like Get Connected, later the Mix, and indirectly to the Centrepoint Helpline which I run today.

I'm proud to have volunteered and worked at several of those helplines, and met Esther on several occasions. She leaves an incredible legacy.

While many drivers are careful and considerate, I see a huge amount of dangerous and aggressive driving on London's roads - and very little enforcement. Drivers aren't worse than other road users. But motor vehicles do far more damage than other machines when poorly controlled or recklessly driven.

I see a lot of people complaining about the undoubtedly stressful conditions at present on London's roads. But I see few people complaining about motor vehicles. Yet in the last 24 hours three vulnerable road users have died after being hit by people driving motor vehicles.

I have nothing against drivers. I just don’t think it’s OK for some to decide rules are for other people. And I find it baffling that so many drivers who purport to be law-abiding want to make that argument.

Delo’s lawyers are now sending out letters to journalists saying it is breach of privacy law to publish information about Delo’s conviction for an anti-money laundering offence in the US. Another public relations success for Farage.

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.

how horrible. Hopefully this loophole will be quickly closed. #housing

For this week's London Centric, we've looked into the new and totally legal tactic that's being used to try to squeeze as much rent as possible from London’s private tenants in the face of the Renters’ Rights Act – the inverse bidding war www.londoncentric.media/i/211878305/...

I can think of a few experiences associated with the term 'AI': - Goggle AI saying that one should use glue for the cheese on pizzas - Trump posting a video of himself dropping shit from a jet; Trump enjoying a rebuilt Gaza with Netanyahu - the extensive use of copyrighted material without

I'd say "contactless payments come to America" has the potential to be about three days of transatlantic bluesky content, possibly taking in US aversion to automatic speed cameras and something about food consumption.

Here is the full chart with labeled axes. It is comparing homework scores to test scores. Below-average and average scorers for homework and exams appear at about the same frequency regardless of AI usage. The high homework scorers using AI, however, are not replicating that success at test time.

Hey everybody. I’ve seen the statement by Matt Karch, the CEO of Saber Entertainment, and all of the truly horrendous things he said about me. I think it should be obvious to anyone who reads that statement that he’s lashing out because he did not want people to know there was AI use in the game.

Super excited for this! Next game from the maker of Her Story, Telling Lies and Immortality!

The constant daily stream of positive commentary about Starfield on this app is a big part of my happy place. So the fact that for two days it's been drowned out by people parroting someone's objectively bad take that it doesn't exist kinda makes me not want to participate in the site.

There a million things wrong with the EHRC guidance, as you all know, but for me the weirdest thing about it all is that its authors don't even seem to be aware of the possibility that someone asked to leave a "single sex" facility might refuse.
