If you’re still working for this moral trash heap of a yellow rag, give your head a shake.

It is short and so I assume they are looking into things but it is... interesting... that the NYT piece on the new House Dems report on Trump ties to Epstein simply does not mention the brand new rape allegation and says whatever this is instead www.nytimes.com/2026/10/26/u...

Yeah, that's it, that's what happened, they were manipulated. Yeah, manipulated... that's the ticket. Manipulated. If these people had real jobs they'd already be fired.

I mean, it DID look rigged. Heavily. In Bolsonaro’s favor. He lost anyway.

I know we are all inured, but this is an appalling and unacceptable thing for a US president to say about another country's election.

He did not compromise with fascists. This seems virtually inconceivable to Canadian politicians.

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

I already stopped looking at these kinds of places years ago, looking forward to seeing these organs of the Ollie Follies press to further alienate themselves from relevance to anyone who’s not a card carrying Folly member

"Digital crimes must be dealt with like real life crimes." Canada, anyone?

Rafa Sales Ross@rafiews.com

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.

If you’re thinking of buying an Audi, don’t forget that an Audi executive appeared at a Trump rally this weekend to try to boost an American dictatorship. Make your car-buying decision accordingly.

reliance on starlink is a national security threat for every country, including the united states, where musk would absolutely use it to sabotage the foreign policy of a dem president it must be replaced posthaste

The White House says the malicious manipulation of Ukrainian access to StarLink and StarShield is over. Zelenskyy says it continues. And Zelenskyy, of course, is correct.

stratvox reposted

Crazy this is not obvious to Wall Street: every democracy saw what Musk did to Ukraine last week and confirmed security need for Starlink alternative. Those alternatives will not just serve defense needs, but also be viable commercial alternatives, crushing any hope of SpaceX's monopoly projections.

They aren't going to gamble on going broke in their 80s, when they can no longer work and need help to care for themselves. They see how vulnerable populations are treated now, such as RFK Jr. wanting special-needs folks to die.

I think it's clarifying when they say it out loud. When we say these people prefer fascism to even minor socialism, even as a necessary corrective to fascist overreach, we're told that's just conspiracism. So, here we are, with them saying it out loud. Pin it.

This is a really striking tweet.

Worth reading the whole thread to learn how the propaganda sausage gets paid for. Esp. relevant given what we've learned recently about US efforts in AB, SK, and QC to encourage separatist movements. Also tells us Schiff can't be trusted and should be disregarded by Canadians; he's fully on board.
