Remember what matters. Our lives are short, but the future stretches out forever. Everyone says "take care of yourself" but in my view, frankly, that is a juvenile approach to life. Take care of your children, of all children, of the future. Deprioritise your "self." Their future is in our hands.

The EU is requiring governments to clarify who is responsible for protecting citizens from climate disasters. This should be interesting.

Which position? The terrible position that Carney was adopting until Trump torpedoed the deal by adding stuff even Carney at his most elbows down couldn't accept? Or a position that's actually good for Canada?

The lessons from Brazil and Serbia? Don't concede one inch of ground to the far right. Don't appease. Don't triangulate. Don't grovel. Don't say they have "legitimate concerns". Mobilise your base, and fight them with all the democratic means at your disposal.

He did not compromise with fascists. This seems virtually inconceivable to Canadian politicians.

And Carney loves AI data centres, "AI for all!" .. I wonder why online dialogue is so Carney-positive?

From "we're the greenest province, we have a carbon tax!", to "we need to cut the carbon tax because the economy!" to "we're going to use taxpayer money to pay you to buy gas". Put a cowboy hat on, you'll fit in better.

Trump is not only a Russian asset, but an asset of the corrupt side of the oil and gas industry.
