Really nice illustration of the cycle of developing an application, identifying concepts and extracting them by @becca.monster !

This is a very weird feeling. I guess akin to taking pictures with a Gameboy camera or something. And, dithering (second half of video) works nicely! I'm sending 4bit grayscale stuff over 1Mbit UART, couldn't manage to get 8bit etc... Now for that scroll packet and RLE for terminal recordings...

Any other Yeti Blue owners who tried all the microphone modes on their mechanical keyboards? Why is the Stereo mode SO SUPERIOR to all the other modes?! So much oomph on each clack

I'm joining the war on slop with cheap, fast flyer commissions. If you know someone who is asking the computer for event posters, tell them to ask me instead. Get the guarantee!

Pustil jsem přes noc 10 agentů, aby dělali analýzy zatím co spim, ráno jsem to cross-validoval před 4 modely, doiteroval pomocí pátého nezávislého modelu a mám konečně výsledek, kterému mohu věřit. Doma neni toaleťák.

It is easy to define per-row security policies with Acadia: ✨ acadia.engineering/blog/simple-... ✨ The compiler then does "symbolic evaluation" at compile time so that in many cases, you pay zero runtime cost for your security guarantees! The example app runs an Elm server too! 🚄

Grandia continues! This stretch of the game is grindy and contains two optional dungeons that represent the extreme ends of the JRPG dungeon spectrum. One is dense, charmingly themed and has the best boss fight in the game thus far. The other is just a long, boring cave! #crt #retrogaming

Grandia continues, finally, to disc number two. After acquiring new party member Rapp I took a look at his magic screen and immediately began reminiscing about how great Sue was. 😔 Milda, however, is most impressive. Most impressive, indeed. 😌 #crt #retrogaming

The level in the screenshot has 37k+ objects (!) but draws no more than 1000 unique textures, and those will pack into this single 4096×4096 texture. TexturePacker is really good at packing efficiently! these look so neat :D :D

vester.si/bodily-oddit... This reads similar to a _feeling_ of things being distant (like a max FOV camera?, but only feeling-wise, not visually)... I wonder if it's still part of this syndrome. I unironically love when it happens, though I don't love the fever that it comes with 😅
