Today i took a tiny break to look into controller support for #UI in #Godot. I figured out ways to: - move the mouse to follow the focus - limit focus within a container - enter/exit a control with a button - trigger drag/drop I will add these info in my free UI guides in 3-4 months! #GameDev

This page was reeeaaaaaallly hard to make!! The implementation was hard, but the design/scope itself was harder!! I do think it will be one of the best page in the whole guide, a bit like the Transition and Eases page from the tween one! #Godot #GameDev #Indie

starting to get at ease with jj and ash, and almost ready to deploy, so is it time to add learning nix to the whole thing? (probably not but lets do it anyway)

Looking for an #ElixirLang dev? I'm officially on the market! 4+ years of Elixir in production. Natural affinity to testing, o11y and DX. My most used OS libraries are InstructorLite and PostHog SDK. Remote from 🇨🇦, PDT, links in bio. RTs appreciated 🙏 #MyElixirStatus

There's various approaches, but essentially ElixirKit is Tauri + Phoenix, so yeah you're wrapping a LiveView app in a webview and packaging it. It's a great, low-friction approach since most people are likely already using LiveView. Native features via Tauri (menubar, deep links, etc)

"Just generate it with an LLM." Common reply when I mention I'm building Hologram UI - the component library for my Elixir-in-the-browser framework. But components need more than markup: a11y, responsiveness, edge cases LLMs miss. Waiting list: hologram.page/ui #ElixirLang

shipped attic.photos 1.0.0-beta.20, kind of a big update since it fixes an issue in earlier versions where metadata was keyed to the local photo uuid not global. With this update you can run attic on multiple machines. It does mean a one time migration of the metadata files on S3 using attic.

attic.photosAttic — Back up your iCloud Photos to your own storageKeep using Photos.app like you always do. Attic quietly backs up your originals and edits to cloud storage you control — including EU providers.

I'm so happy to see that this silly little project of mine reached so much people!! Thank you so much everyone!!!! I'll accept dog pictures as congratulations and I swear this hasn't been a scheme to get dog pictures since the start... who would do that... not me... hehehe #Godot #GameDev

My interactive tween guide for Godot is out ! If you have trouble using tweens, adding "Juice" or picking the right transition, it should hopefully help! The guide is free and will always be 🩵 qaqelol.itch.io/tweens #Godot #GameDev #Animation #Tutorial #Guide #Tweens

🚨 Get ready for a Game Changer: Home Edition — LIVE NOW on Kickstarter until June 5! From the team behind Game Changer comes a chaotic, fast-paced party game where you never know what’ll happen next.

Started using #AshFramework for a personal project, it is going well (and works pretty well). Still learning so we will see how it will go once I need less « magic » and more logic though but I think I understand the direction it will go already #MyElixirStatus #ElixirLang #Elixir

At the same time I moved to a Forgejo instance, and I’m trying out a bit of jj because why not 🤷‍♂️

I think that this issue created by me could use some support. github.com/erlang/otp/i... The goal there is to be able to use modern password hashing functions (Argon2id and scrypt) without any NIF. That should bump the security of most Elixir applications out there.
