Colors is so funny because it's like, they clearly did not know how to end a joke. They'd start a joke, draw it out, and then just...keep aimlessly wandering around with it, with no clue how or when to deliver the punchline. It's kinda hilarious in that way, but not intentionally.

the Sonic Adventure games (including 06 and Unleashed here, they basically count) have like, themes and shit! there's a bigger story going on even if our dipshit furry teen heroes (affectionate) dont fully grasp it

Yea to some degree I love how much they fucking went for it? like fuck yeah sonic adventure 1 can tell a nonlinear story about the scars and cycles of violence caused by imperialism (actually honestly unironically I do kinda enjoy adventure 1-2s stories admittedly lol)
