this is part of why the couple of games written by the fuckin happy tree friends guys fall flat for me theyre too MCU Snarky (also they're just not great games. Colors is ok i guess). Sonic is best when he is cringe & he is free

Yeah I remember when Colors first came out and everyone was saying how great the writing was and I'm like, sure, if you're 3 years old lol Not that Sonic isn't a series for kids but it was never on that level before lol

Idk I do actually kinda defend that aspect of Colours because I like that it brings back a lot of stuff that sort of got dropped from the series. I like that it centred back in on Sonic and Tails’ interactions and remembers the more environmentalist angle of the early games.
