I like to think Tangled itself is running off a bunch of Dell OptiPlex's and an external drive

How will you have enough uptime to copy and burn anyone's repo though

serious question, are you going to recursively include submodules?

CDs don't last forever. Gimmick.

CD-RW so we update the fork on disc?

9 days later and I'm still waiting on that CD. I submitted my form response when there was no replies to this post.

Can i get it hand scribed into vellum as well?

Ya I vendor my dependencies because who knows if the upstream npm package get compromised and pwn my mission critical homelab server /s

“Insert disc 5”

I think it's 9660 actually.

Maybe 6 years. Maybe 50 if you burned onto Ultralife Gold Archival Grade

"until you lose it, let's be real" is doing so much work in that announcement

If it's not HD-DVD format then gtfo.

"This form is currently not accepting responses."

Super fun idea!!

What is it, April 1st?

I'm hoping that the backlash here might push them not to drop the disc drive. Xbox's new CEO seems super receptive to feedback, given she removed Copilot from Xbox because people hated it and dropped the price of Game Pass, both very quickly after becoming CEO.
