I survived. Driving to work last Monday morning, full of negative thoughts, I nearly drove into oncoming traffic to feel some kind of release. A third attempt. Only potential harm to others stopped me. Recovering on SSRIs, two weeks off work, pacing slowly. I'll find the old version of me again.

Year is drawing to an end, but I feel like I'm already starting over again. While the days are getting shorter, and the weather gets bleaker, there seems to be some level of happiness returning. Proof, as Sir demanded ☺️

As someone who has these thoughts *a lot*, don't fret on making a huge gesture. A simple "How are you?" can turn a bad day into a good one. Being remembered is more than enough, even if its only for a few minutes.
