Yep, it's the little things. Like right now, I have three ICE radio test sets in my backlog at work that I am supposed to be working on. I'll work on them when I get around to it. Which might be in March. Of next year.

This is a subtle point, but important for people to grasp: all three of the Minnesota murderers were not new to DHS, and all three of them were CBP veterans, not ICE (tho murderer J Ross was a recent transfer to ICE from CBP.) This is how CBP behaves regularly on the southern border.

They've been incubating both white supremacists and extrajudicial murderers for decades. Ross' method of murder was provocation to deliberately arrange a "plausible deniability" incident, crossing in front of Good's car 3 times, a behavior explicitly banned by DHS over ten years ago.

Didn't they force government employees to either take a furlough or move to ICE support roles? The gunfuckers out doing fascist pogroms are in their lane and flourishing, but the people approving their payroll and travel expenses maybe not so much

ICE is the Sturmabteilung, they are all Nazis and much like the Sturmabteilung will be discarded for the US Army, US Air Force and US Navy sooner or later, the only solution is Revolution.

I'm parsing "on the job at work" to mean the job is a specific project done at the workplace, like a report, so if you take a shit on it, and the flyer is addressing service people who serve ICE operations, then somewhere down the chain someone will get a report they can't use because of the poo

Our Jira installation doesn't allow "delete". Although, it does allow "move to backlog", which is practically equivalent to "delete".

I mean, if you're caught doing this, they'll just say it's "violence" anyway and punish you accordingly. The conclusion to be drawn from this must be left as an exercise for the reader.

No you just don't get caught doing anything. Perform work poorly. Leave tools in the wrong place. Call meetings with everyone except the decision makers. Don't perform preventative maintenance correctly. This hurts the bottom line of the billionaire owners of everything. Your boss won't know.

Reminds me of a story from WW2 where Citroën was forced by the occupying Nazis to build trucks. They’d get shot for sabotage if the trucks all came off the line broken, so they mis-stamped the dipsticks and let the mechanics deal with the engines seizing after an oil change hundreds of miles away.

My read of this isn’t for a rando to do it, but the guy at the rental company “accidentally” doing these things. (Because at least where I am, the vehicles they’re using are flet vehicles.) I mean, the flyer is wrong and you *can* be penalized, but not with jail or death. You’d just get written up.

When they come to get their lunch When they come to register at their pre-booked accomodation When they come to pick up their rental car When they can't get the wifi to work When they can't find the address When they are having trouble with their card It all adds up. The tiny inconveniences of life

Jira is a project management framework. It's basically throwing away a digital "to-do" sticky note, like ignoring a tech support request.

It should be something that would be embarrassing to explain to management or HR. “You don’t understand, he keeps giving me decaf instead of regular coffee.”

I think you'd taste that immediately before your colon prolapses. Sneaky decaf is a more subtle fuck-you. Ideally the deliverer gets to keep doing it, although they could say "oops I thought you ordered the pink sock special".

I'm just remembering what I made in college to fuel 40-hour work marathons. A thermos of something so strong the effect isn't fit to describe in polite company and it could only be made and consumed as defiance to god.

If you're forced to interact with them in any way, do hard-to-notice acts of resistance. Example: "Overtighten lug nuts." If you're "fixing" something, fix it wrong. Every minute they're slowed is a minute they can't hurt anyone. Be a wrench in their gears (with plausible deniability).

Decades of this for every person who even voted for this treasonous regime. None should ever be allowed to live this down. They need to be constantly reminded that ignorance, selfishness and hate have lasting consequences.

... so, what would happen if every person with a conscious and wanted to defend the constitution tried to sign up for ICE and other jobs in the administration... I think it would crash their HR... and that's just applying, even if no one gets hired...

A lot of chain store automotive repair companies will deflect responsibility, especially if it takes a while to notice the issue. This all falls under the discretion and ladder of risk the individual is willing to accept as a mistake

“When a Soviet soldier comes to you, YOU: 1. Don’t know 2. Don’t care 3. Don’t tell 4. Don’t have 5. Don’t know how to 6. Don’t give 7. Can’t do 8. Don’t sell 9. Don’t show 10. Do nothing” Večerní Praha (Evening Prague) August 26, 1968

Didn’t expect to see these posted on Bluesky! Here’s a printable version if anyone wants it (the bottom is gone in the original pic because the bottom half of the flyer was a bunch of tear-offs lol)

Being blue collar & working in the trades it cracks me up now that peons like me will be a critical tool in overthrowing this regime. Not the billionaires, not the celebrities. Around the world & the U.S. it’s normals fighting back risking everything while the elite live in their billionaire bunkers

I'm sure their operation has all sorts of tech infrastructure, and people who are tasked to maintain it. If not, similar task management tools are used for all sorts of operations, maybe they use them to map out raids or something. Sure would suck if a big ticket got edited or misplaced by mistake.
