"arabs have contributed nothing to the arts and sciences" is such a funny fucking thing for a bog ape wearing a little suit to say

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

not to mention AI did the "first hit's free" thing by not charging for AI usage at first, but now that all these companies rely on it, they're driving up the price per token and now AI shit is even more expensive than regular filming expenses

I say "token", because AI usage is literally a slot machine. you pay a token per-slot-machine-lever-pull, and hope you like what you get or you roll again. They do this thousands of times, and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'm serious like when i say AI is a huge scam this is partly why

So which โ€œArabsโ€ is he mad at? The ones who gave Kushner $2 billion. The ones who gave Trump a 747? The ones who let America build military bases in their countries. Or is he trying to make sure Stephen Miller knows heโ€™s properly racist so he gets an invite to Katieโ€™s next party?

i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trumpโ€™s epsteinโ€™s ties and multiple allegations of rape isnโ€™t worthy of extensively reporting on. iโ€™m serious. i want to understand.

This is probably the best ad I've seen against using generative AI: Mayer, who was an engineer at Google and a chief executive of Yahoo, has rotted her brain so much she can no longer classify her daughter as "empathetic, creative and an animal lover". The slide of competence is incredible.

Will anyoneโ€”anyone at allโ€”ask Trump about the rape allegations published in an official report by the House Judiciary Democrats? Or will he continue to escape accountability for his violence?

A serial rapist was elected twice as President, a fact we don't reckon with nearly enough. Now one of two major political parties has been molded in his image, run for and by violent sexual abusers who hate women.

When you realize the stock market isn't focused around successful business but about ensuring your investment increases in yield on the basis of its perceived value, it starts to make more sense that the worst companies have the biggest valuations.

Trump is BIG MAD about Obama saying the White House now looks like Saddam opened a Cheesecake Factory: "He's not a smart guy. He's not smart at all ... for you to say it's a Cheesecake Factory, that just shows why you were a lousy president"

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as โ€œheadcanon.โ€ When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it โ€œobnoxiousโ€ and โ€œcringe.โ€ They just donโ€™t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they donโ€™t want us to exist at all.

Lina Khan on Mamdani: "One thing we saw the mayor be very attentive to is all sorts of daily nickel and diming -- taking on junk fees, subscription traps. Those can seem very micro and targeted, but in the aggregate I see those as really designed to take on unfair methods of competition."

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

This actually gives me a bit of hope. If the American gov is operating at such a level that they can't even empower their preferred regime in S. America, a think we've historically been the best at. It suggests that Trump's attempts the steal the midterms might be unsuccessful. They're bad at this.
