It’s a winning message - “you’re not having problems buying food and paying rent. You’re imagining it.” The Dems tried something similar and lost an election. Of course, in that case the underlying data looked good but benefits hadn’t made it to the people yet and the media were screaming about it

When you're a billionaire there is no such thing as an "affordability crisis" because you can fucking afford anything! This is why an elitist self-enriching profit whore billionaire should have never been elected for a selfless civil servant position. #VoteBlue

The absurdity of what he is saying would go down easier, without the shit-eating grin. He’s doing the propaganda crazy-style.

A know a guy who is running around social media telling everyone that he is way better off now when I know he absolutely is not. Tons of them are lying like this, and obviously so. It's bizarre how much pain they will take.

Only a person who can afford just about anything they want would say something that idiotic. When it doesn't affect you, you can say stupid stuff like that. But when he's in line at the food bank, that kinda foolish talk won't fly.

I hope if he ever goes to a food bank, he gets canned meat with no can opener. He gets the small sour oranges and badly bruised apples. I hope there are ants in his sugar and cockroaches in his flour. May his coffee have no caffeine.

Do you need ask? Even sarcastically. Trump and gang have never been near grocery store much less in one. Mingle with the commoners. Risk getting close to brown people. What are you thinking?

I would say I agree, but I have known many a wealthy person who do take time to know it. They even do their own shopping. At the very least, you would think these guys could ask their staffers?

It's why he left CNBC... While they still have their shills, they do have quality journalist who still do their thing (looking at you @carlquintanilla). He left so he could suckle on his left nut while Bassinet and Nutlick and Kasmet here could have the right.

Says the multi-millionaire who works with a crook, never goes grocery shopping, has government healthcare, and is chauffeured around in government SUVs with security guards. Fuck off!

Is he seriously that stupid? Or maybe he thinks that we are? All people have to do is look at their bank accounts, their empty wallets, and their empty gas tanks and know that he's a lying motherfucker.

If we're burning $2.9 billion a day just on debt interest, the economy isn't booming, it's in free fall. A fiscally responsible government would use economic strength to pay down the debt, not let the train wreck keep rolling. This fake success IS the myth.

For the billionaires in the administration, sure. For 99.9% of the population there is a very real affordability crisis. Never expect this administration to be honest with us.

Top 10% got 90% of the Trillions he talks about. Someone needs to tell him that he’s talking to the lower 60% who got $0.

My favorite bread just went up 30 cents. That might seem trivial, but it’s nonstop a butt more here and there until you’re cutting out this and that. This economy is sucking all joy out of millions of lives Hassett, enjoy your cake while it lasts.

Please keep saying this! Even Fix voters know what is hitting their pocketbooks! They may believe the BS it’s gonna get better! Wait until they see 27 if we don’t take both houses, but we need a veto proof majority!

He’s a goddamned liar. He didn’t bother to explain who holds that trillion $$. It’s not in the pockets of the average working American.

I always leave these on mute so I can just watch the dipshit on the right smiling like a feckin loon and the geezer on the left sucking on his dentures and staring vacantly.

Ah, the classic "economic reality is a hallucination" defense. I’m sure that insight lands perfectly while he’s looking at a spreadsheet from 1994.

Any institution that has given that guy a qualification of any sort needs to repeal it immediately and sue him for irreparable damage to their brand.

What data? Almost all job gains in 2025 have been erased. Inflation is still herem "Total Job Creation: The U.S. economy added just 181,000 jobs across the entirety of 2025 after incorporating updated state and federal benchmark data. This compares to 1.46 million jobs added in 2024"

every billionaire deserves a sticker that says "i won capitalism" followed by immediate seizure of all assets and deportation to a random, lower GDP country so they can start over on a more challenging difficulty level

I got two bean burritos at Taco Bell the other day. My bill was about $6.50 Not that long ago the same order was less than $5 😐

They have to know from polling that their base is incredibly unhappy with gas and grocery prices. Why would he say this? He could just tell some "we are working on it" story, but to suggest his own base are idiots seems unwise.
