Trump seems to believe that just having a contract for US to take Ukraine’s minerals will mean Putin stops attacking apartment blocks, hospitals and schools. How STUPID is the Felon?

Given who Trump is, my guess is that Zelenskyy’s people told Trump ahead of the meeting that Ukraine was not going to give the US its minerals without a reliable military guarantee. Knowing the day was going to end without a deal, Trump and JD decided to maul Zelenskyy in full public view.

Any deal that Zelenskyy agrees to in terms of paying USA for support should be absolutely CAPPED at the actual $$$ donated MINUS the portion that went straight back to US military suppliers. He should insist that other countries have exactly the same financial deal. And immediate NATO membership!

We shouldn’t be surprised that Trump doesn’t want Zelenskyy in the negotiations with Putin. Trump would be embarrassed to have a world leader see his total acquiescence and to witness the criminal dealings.

Reporters discussing the difference between Trump 1 and Felon 47 need to remember that in his first term he was nominating competent people believing he could force them to be loyal. This time he’s nominating loyalists that have a mission. Competence is not a criterion. It’s learning.
