I think people intuitively understand that democratic candidates tossing trans kids to the wolves is not only morally repugnant but also politically ineffective, otherwise they wouldn't freak out every time someone said they weren't voting for a democrat who did this

Just want to point out, that with preliminary numbers, the only party to increase the # of votes is @bcgreens.bsky.social. Both Conservative and NDP lost voters. And those complaining of vote splitting, they each lost more than the Greens gained. Apathy won this election.

I appreciate passion and support from folks outside of B.C. But we actually don’t really know what happens next. And stoking necessary fear over hypotheticals is going to hurt the actual organizing that needs to happen to make things better for people here.
