A friend points out that there were 10 House Democrats who voted to censure Al Green to go with 10 Senate Democrats who backed Trump and DOGE—nice round numbers for a campaign for change.

📌NOTE: Immediately after the vile attack on Zelensky by Putin's puppets Friday, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries should have called a joint press conference and explained to the American public the significance, heinousness and danger of that sickening surrender. 📌They should STILL be talking now.

Generations of American patriots, from our revolution onward, have fought for the principles Zelenskyy is risking his life to defend. But today, Donald Trump and JD Vance attacked Zelenskyy and pressured him to surrender the freedom of his people to the KGB war criminal who invaded Ukraine.

ZELENSKYY: Putin broke the ceasefire. What kind of diplomacy, JD, are you speaking about? VANCE: I think it's disrespectful to come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media

Lots of "Very Serious People" don't want to admit what is plain and obvious and in front of our eyes and explains so much: Donald Trump and Elon Musk are two of the most ignorant and uninformed people to ever be allowed near public office anywhere in the western world. It's obvious to all of us.

"nobody even knows where the [national debt] money went and you’re not allowed to ask." Huh? Its all public record at OMB, CBO, & Treasury websites, which I've also used to publish 600 reports, articles, & chart books specifying where all the money went. You can log off Twitter and go look it up!

Government’s wins are often invisible: Systems that avoid plane crashes; alliances that avert war; surveillance that prevent pandemics. Government wins are often *the avoidance of loss.* So how do we tell the story of the destruction of government? The story of future losses *not* averted?

You know the end of Atlas Shrugged, that playbook of Paul Ryan and other MAGA-types (the ones that read)? Reverse the power groups who cause all the destruction, and voila. You are here.

It is our job right now to tell everyone less online than us that the U.S. is undergoing a coup intended to destroy democracy and subjugate the American people.

look not to get too psychoanalytical, but Dems are a party of straight-A honor roll students who got where they are by turning in their homework on time and looking perfect, and they think that's how political discourse works: gotta get it perfectly right. but that's not how discourse works

the most frustrating thing to me is framing is not hard. democrats insist its the toughest thing in the world and its super simple.

Does it not occur to folks that using “DOGE” in the media, talking about it like it is a real department, and not something completely made up and illegitimate, gives it power and legitimacy? 🙄

When asked if he was going to visit the crash site he said, ‘what site? The water? You want me to go swimming?’ This is one of the last pics of the young skaters who died. He’s a sociopath. Anyone who voted for this monster should be ashamed at best.

I want to know where the Democratic leadership has been the past couple weeks. I want to know what they are doing to protect Americans against Project 2025 enacted in front of their effin eyes. Do they need new media consultants to tell them to get off square 1 and be representatives of the people?

Any Democrat who enables Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s further ascent should be primaried, and I don't care who that takes in.

Caroline Kennedy wrote a scathing letter to senators, calling her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a “predator” addicted to attention from airing dangerous views on vaccinations and someone who is unfit to be the U.S. health secretary. nyti.ms/40Oyb3o

Before we hope for the courts to save us, we might note that it's Congress whose legislative power and power of the purse that are being usurped. Congress has many ways in which it can and should act to reassert its authority. Or will it passively accept a usurpation far beyond what Nixon attempted?

Trump: "300 people sitting in a plane. Every one of them either a murderer, drug lord, kingpin of some kind, the head of the mob, or a gang member. And you're flying that plane. It's not gonna end well. You ever see the movie Con Air? Except here's the difference - the people in Con Air were actors"

We keep hearing about masculinity from the Zuckerbergs of the world-- this woman has shown more courage in this 60-second clip than any of the tech billionaires have shown in recent memory as they grovel at Trump's feet.
