Announcing Neon Gyre 88 for the Sega #MasterSystem. It's a tribute to Tempest and exclusively playable on the upcoming SMS PicoPak flashcart leveraging it's coprocessor enhancement. Will be available for free to download with dev docs. This is a WIP with placeholder music.

I don't know if you know @kimjustice.bsky.social but this book is guaranteed to be good.

PicoPak for #Colecovision now has Joystick as paddle for the #MSX Arkanoid. Normally it only supports keyboard and the Vaus paddle controller so I replicated the paddle controls and mapped them over to the joystick and provided a menu option to toggle it.

I remember thinking once how Creality got a bad rap because mine worked great and then I was like "oh yeah I had to replace the hot end, extruder, some of the motion control system, the mainboard..."

The Creality K2 Plus 3D printer is hot garbage. 1st layer prints like poopie. The machined flat bed I installed in it is a taco. It *always* has feeding problems. Bambu has concerns, yes. But they work. When they fail, it's my fault, not the printer. Not an endorsement: but get a Bambu Labs.

All of ours reached their lifetime around the same time and beeped to tell us that they needed replacing.... Except they all didi it on different nights in the middle of the night.

Adrian's Digital Basement@adriansdigitalbasement.com

Why do smoke detectors always start beeping "low battery" in the middle of the night? It has to be temperature related... this one started at 3AM but the basement temps never really change at all, day or night.

This is insane

Have a #Colecovision and Super Game Module? With #PicoPak you can also now play all the wonderful MSX1 games. All the #MSX AY audio is reproduced faithfully by the AY chip in the SGM. Your Colecovision game library just got a lot bigger! SCC Audio is still a work in progress.

We have reached a significant milestone in the Handheld MiSTerFPGA (Pocket) project. It’s working! StarWars (Vector Arcade) running on the first issue prototype. More updates soon.

Ok. I am gutted and really sorry to say that the servers are all gone. Over 1600 members on RHD and some lowlife deleted it forever with a click. Also stole a bunch of money from my account. I will make an update video and post that here when I get home. Whatever happens we are going to rebuild.

Frustrated with my current solder fume extractor, so I finally decided to set down and design one. Uses the #Noctua NF-F12 5v fan, USB-C to 5v breakout board and a small rocker switch. Has a slot in the top to slid in a 130x130mm activated carbon filter (cheap on Amazon).

I radically improved arcadeRTFM.com this week. It's now a fully indexed archive of arcade repair/operator manuals plus schematics. It has details for 7,800+ arcade machines and 2,400+ manuals. You can search by game, manufacturer, year or even chip! Share it wherever you think it might be useful.

So I've designed a desktop arcade cabinet for the MiSTer. Features tool-less rotatable high res 9.7 inch iPad screen, easily replaceable control panel and stereo audio speakers all powered from a single USB-C power source. #MiSTerFPGA

I don’t know who needs to hear Jesse Jackson leading the kids on Sesame Street in this beautiful call-and-response reminding them that every child is somebody, but here it is

One man's life is worth so much more than a retrospective Blue Sky "tweet". But I want to say something. More details coming on Saturday by those who were closest to this situation. I will absolutely miss you @thegamechasers and you won't be forgotten!
