This is pretty cool. House in my neighborhood has a display synced to music that they broadcast themselves over the air and you tune it in via FM radio. They play popular music but I’d love to hear VIDEOGAME MUSIC in there as well/instead. Castlevania playlist for Halloween? That would rule.

That moment you finish recording your entire voiceover, go to copy the files and realize you had the wrong microphone turned on the entire time resulting in no useful recorded audio.

According to my extensive research lasting 3 seconds, this one is on the disc and playable without an internet connection. What a time to be alive!

Meh. The rouge stuff really brings the game down for me. That kinda stuff always does. Should've listened to my gut. But the graphics are decent and the audio is also decent. Not sure why the industry can't seem to do audio as well as they did it back on the 1st Xbox though.

HELL YEAH HOME BOY look what I wore OUTSIDE today!!! What I'm holding in my hand should give you a clue as to why I'm wearing it.

I love your answers so far! It's hard to see, but I'm holding a paint brush. When you paint you don't wear clothes you care about.

Today, I decided to dump all my thoughts about A.I. infecting the retro and Saturn scene into one cohesive article. In short, I am certifiably sick of this.

SEGA SATURN, SHIRO!@segasaturnshiro.bsky.social

Is there any harm in using AI to work on — or entirely create — projects for the Sega Saturn and elsewhere in the retro gaming scene? Yes, PandaMonium says in this opinion column, equating such work to digital asbestos: www.segasaturnshiro.com/2026/09/24/c... #sega #saturn #segasaturn #retrogaming

I've seen people say that Gen AI is a tool. NO. Things like Photoshop, Blender, etc etc are tools used by artists. With Gen AI, the AI is the "artist". You're just the plebe commissioning the piece. I can't imagine anyone being proud of something they came up with using Gen AI.

That Kirby Breath of the Wild game might be cool. The Metroid game reminds me very much of that ugly 3DS 2D Metroid which I didn't care for. So much parrying. People love that I guess?

Finally saw Disclosure Day. My unsolicited opinion: I didn't like it. The characters were poorly written, as was everything else. Worse, there was no wonderment or really anything in the movie that was interesting. It felt like a story not worth telling. Or watching. What did you think?

URGENT!!!! I have tried the Deep Fried (dough and chocolate) and Banana Pudding flavored Oreos. After much deliberation, I have decided that I like them both. However more research is needed to decide which of the two I like better. I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED ON THIS DEVELOPING SITUATION.

Finally got around to watching the GTA 6 thing on Netflix of all places (WTF?). Looks like a GTA game to me. I tried to find something to complain about but can't really. Maybe some dropped frames but whatever. I'll be playing for sure, looks dope. Played the hell out of part 5.

At a restaurant when my order was called, they pronounced my name as "Joey", not knowing the E is silent. My first thought was that this girl will never be able to pronounce TATE MODE properly, but she'll probably do OK with BlazBlue... well at least the first half of it.

Am I the only one who's getting tired of how self-aware writing in shows/movies based on popular franchises tends to be these days? Sparingly it's fine, but it's never used that way. The writers NEED to constantly let you know that they're aware of the tropes, then drench it in hilarious "irony".

I don't have P+, so I can't watch it, but I'm not a fan of the animation style at all. Also, why does everything have to imitate Rick & Morty now? When I play GA, I don't think "comedy." www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStb...

Anyone ever get the music for Columns on the Genesis stuck in your head? I don't know why it's in mine right now.

Hmmm, looks like two duds in a row for ol' Game Sack! It happens. The next episode in two weeks will be back to the familiar, so please look forward to it!

This is how I did the intro for Game Sack starting in 2024. I used my iPad Mini to mirror my Mac's desktop and draw in Photoshop with the Apple Pencil. It's animated on 2s which means it runs at 15 frames per second. I didn't want anyone to think this was a filter or AI!

I'm almost sold on the STEAM Machine. It's just missing one thing... A required monthly subscription! Add that and then I'm on board!

When is your birthday? Well guess what, your NEW birthday is June 7 because that's when the new Crazy Taxi trailer is revealed.

So I missed the Mighty Cuphead Adventure announcement. I had heard people talking "8-bit" and I was like "OK cool so it'll be another NES-like with tons of parallax scrolling that shouldn't be in there." Nope. Legit real Master System game with a cartridge version planned for release! Can't wait!
