the mainstream democrats do not want the republicans to face any consequences because they are on the same team, they are the same people, they are friends and colleages. their job is to occupy the positions of people who could actually oppose the republicans & make sure that never happens

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

Just taking notes, as too many unalarmed people forgot what the far right would do if it regained power in France. ✍️

"Unions, universities,& social organizations began to organize themselves, mobilized by fear of what was to come: a Bolsonarism 2.0 that...foreshadowed a return to brutalism Suddenly understanding what the far right would do if it regained power, an alarmed populace took on the task of stopping it"

Alex Pretti's father: We wish Alex was alive. This administration has taken that away from us. What we've been treated to is cruelty. By Dan Rosen in the US Attorney's office, from the Attorney General Todd Blanche, who has ignored our letter begging for information. They've shielded Alex's killers.

America is locking immigrants with no criminal record in concentration camps. Shouldn’t we be sending Eduardo Bolsonaro back to Brazil to serve his prison sentence?

One of the oddest parts of Reflect Orbtial’s schtick is its claim of “substantive discussions” with scientists and astronomers. Basically zero evidence of this or it having an impact thus far.

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

erininthemorning.comDon’t Vote For The Worst Anti-Trans DemocratsThe Democratic Party should, and likely will, win big in the midterms. We must not send the worst anti-trans voices to join them.
