It always comes back to this for me; if AI was so good, such a disclosure would be a selling point. If AI was everything these slop jockeys said it was, they should be proud to let people know their game was AI made. But the proof is in the pudding, and they can't stand that people don't want it.

For indie devs I'd argue at this point it is strategically beneficial to not use Generative AI and very openly market that fact. You become a safe option among those against GenAI, those indifferent won't care either way, even most pro AI won't care. Only the GenAI slopiphiles will be put off.

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.
