Important message for anyone who doesn't want to spend all their time online being annoyed. That's not a life. No one wants that.

"You can't block someone just for being annoying!" Those are actually the most important people to block

And to make myself clear since this went over a lot of heads on Reddit, the comic is not saying “Leftists bad.” The point is a lot of terms and talking points are being used by bad actors to discourage voting participation, which definitely favors the fascists currently running the country. Go vote

I'm begging my American friends to resist your urge to "get the last word" and chase rage bait for clout and just STOP reposting alt-right bullshit

Brazilians recommending not to amplify right-wing talking points by dunking and quoting, as a winning strategy Next day, my tl is full of people dunking on rfk jr I literally would not have seen the bigotry if it wasn't for y'all repeating it. That's exactly what the Brazilians were on about!

I always ask myself why are we fighting for a better world if we can't actually stop to enjoy things or share in the joy of others? I know it can be a trauma response, but we need to unlearn it. There's no virtue in being miserable or expecting the worst. At very least stop bringing down strangers.

I have not actually watched Ted Lasso, but from what I’ve heard of his character and how he handles hostility towards himself and others, I think I should change that. There are few things I respect more in people than what I’ve seen in select clips. Sunglasses manifesting EVERYWHERE.

We warned President Trump and the MAGA Congress against passing the Big Betrayal Bill, knowing it would hurt hospitals in every part of our state. A new report shows Washington's hospitals will lose $6 billion due to their Medicaid cuts. That is devastating to our healthcare system.

Just recovered two Kindle Paperwhites from dead battery alerts. I'm delighted they're working again, and disappointed that I can't use at least one for a TRMNL dashboard.

As someone who was hospitalized for five days after a cold turned into an inner ear infection and caused SEVERE vertigo, you can be perfectly healthy and still have major complications from "just a cold". It's 2.5 years later and I'm STILL using a cane and doing PT in the hopes of fully recovering.

Regular reminder that when you go to things while sick, you are giving those germs to people with autoimmune disorders, you’re passing them to someone’s newborn, to someone’s elderly parents. It’s “just a cold” to you but it can and does severely impact countless people.

Just outright disgusting and hateful garbage. Trump is focused on spewing this garbage instead of doing anything to make life more affordable for Americans. A total disgrace.

NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report. Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

A tough thing in explaining to people why having children is enjoyable is that all the bad stuff is very easy to explain (lost sleep, lost time, more sickness, less sex, etc. etc.) whereas most of the really good stuff whispers.

Prosecution. We've seen it with Bolsonaro Sr, Trump, and even Hitler: if you don't enforce consequences for fascist behavior, it returns with greater hate.

George Potter 🔶@georgepotter.bsky.social

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

I don't normally do this many parody/homage strips in a row, but this idea occurred to me, and I HAD to draw it next in the queue. And I'll admit, that when I put up the poll asking WHICH Daredevil artists that I should homage, I had ALWAYS intended to make each panel a different pairing. lol
