It’s also why chose not to use self harming language and turns like “it’s over” it maybe a joke or hyperbole In The moment but say and see it enough it becomes more real. Keep your to date with what’s going on but don’t fall into the pit of that all you engage with. See nice art say it’s nice.

I could never get to grips with all of Miro's options - upload a file is buried so deep?! - and now just whiteboard in the app we're building... which is actually for gargantuous trees of non-linear dialogue 😅 www.tarinoi.com We started doing feature-design flows in it, now we do our roadmaps too.

Want to give a boost to Lair of the Leviathan: store.steampowered.com/app/2752020/... There's tons of "old-school CRPGs" being made with AI, but the devs here are actually doing everything themselves and even commissioned the famed Dragonlance illustrator Matt Stawicki to do their cover art!

Had two medium sized but very fun ideas for ways to liven up parts of this game while in the shower and bringing my own imagination to life is so *addictive*. It’s so fun building some of my weird ideas into gameplay. store.steampowered.com/app/3979770/...

Since it apparently needs to be explained again honey dears: this is all just a DISTRACTION! It is a play of MERE APPEARANCES over ESSENTIAL FORMS! We are SUPPOSED to be spending our NIGHTMARISH LIVES contemplating GNOSIS!

Looking for game devs who have been directly inspired by anything BioWare for my next video. I suspect the public likely doesn’t quite realize the extent of their influence on the industry, so I’d really like to highlight that. If you are one such game devs, pls reply to this post!

I did the math on my rough chances of getting a tenure-track job in my field of history in 2013. Best case, it was about 6 percent, so I essentially gave up on academia and pursued other things. Writing MMA articles for a couple grand a month was a wildly more promising career path.

Humanities dissertations have fallen by 49 percent since 2015, compared with a drop of 4.5 percent in the social sciences, according to a new analysis of nearly 445,000 dissertations in these two fields over 65 years. Explore the data: https://chroni.cl/4yxUZ4S

One of the reasons I have a DVD collection in 2026 instead of a Netflix sub. Sometimes I just want to watch Some Like it Hot, or Arsenic and Old Lace, or His Girl Friday. No time wasted scrolling through 400 variations of 6 concepts made in the last 4 years.

Browsing #Netflix. Do they realise films were made before 1973? At least old-school video rental shops offered classics going back to the silent era, as well as healthy art, avant-garde, and world cinema sections. I discovered so much that way. There's a narrowing, rather than widening, of culture.

Today, Google's function is to plunder all the works on the internet and chop them up and arrange them in an unimaginably vast, multidimensional array for the explicit purpose of *preventing* audiences from connecting with those works.

Back to working on interactive fiction elements for Innkeep at the moment. Really love this part of the work. Thinking back to 11 year old me writing my own 'Fighting Fantasy' type stuff in the mid 90s. I guess I was always excited by the possibilities of this space.

This is an incredibly well preserved Roman shoe for a woman. It’s around 2,000 years old and was found, and is currently displayed, in a Roman fort known now as The Saalburg in 🇩🇪. The intricate decoration and design is fantastic.
