Just in time for Halloween, a MONSTER Milestone 11 update is now available. Release date info, melee retrospectives, and Musings on The World abound. It is too big for Kickstarter's character limit, so we had to split it into two. Check it out as it was intended on our Patreon!

Had two medium sized but very fun ideas for ways to liven up parts of this game while in the shower and bringing my own imagination to life is so *addictive*. It’s so fun building some of my weird ideas into gameplay. store.steampowered.com/app/3979770/...

Just posted the latest Nighthawks patch. We're at the point now where most of the patch changes are things like typos and minor sequence things, so instead of a long list of those, I thought I'd try a moderately sized list of "Did You Try...?" suggestions... store.steampowered.com/news/app/122...

I told you all that I drew asses for this game. 😌

Nighthawks, like Cyberpunk before it, is one of those games that is a bit of a lottery when it comes to playing at my desk in the office. There I was, happily going about my business as a vampire badass when I was invited to jump into a hot tub and enjoy a 'delicious boy'. 🧐

I like making 'weird' things, because everybody has seen what my vision for 'creepy' and 'epic' and 'moody' look like. My vision for 'weird' still has so many places to go that you haven't seen yet.

I don’t spend too much time online these days, but logging in to see things like this is so nice. Nighthawks was a long project, and it’s so rewarding to see people getting a full meal out of it. :)

Rolled credits on Nighthawks. Huge congrats to @richardcobbett.bsky.social & the whole team at @wadjeteyegames.com. It's my favorite game of the year & the best vampire game since VtM: Bloodlines. I'll have more to say later. Check it out on Steam. A tremendous value at 20 bucks.

Why genAI your food signs when you can express the human chaos in your own soul with beautifully janky writing. (Royal Egyptian food truck in Berkeley)

Idly wondering if Aristotle’s concept of a god figure being pure, active thought, thinking itself is just a more advanced (or more primitive) form of solipsism.

Also thank you to everybody that has been playing and talking about Nighthawks. This first bedroom scene I painted sums up my aim for the game, trying to capture a particular atmosphere of being awake in a world where most people are asleep. It's been great to see people get that.

Hooray!

I was singing at a quiet Sunday afternoon gig this weekend and some staff from the aged care place my Grandma lives in were there so they snuck a photo of me and now she has this stuck up on her wall haha.

Really happy that folks are enjoying Nighthawks. Now that it’s out, I have been focused on getting back to Gilt and trying to make something really special out of it.

Nighthawks has been out for a week! I’m happy people are enjoying it. Here’s a fun behind the scenes look, because sometimes the easiest way to get a good reference is to dress up and pose yourself…

This week I had to explain that Gilt does not have a ‘stuffy’ religious tone. It is varied and unpredictable. Like mythology in general. Look, you can choose to be a stodgy pedant at times. That’s up to you, though, not me.

Wrote this late last night so resharing! Nighthawks is a triumph: a wonderfully compelling piece of interactive fiction that constructs an well-realised little world in your mind and populates it with memorable characters. Funny, tragic, dramatic, emotional, it's everything I hoped it would be.

Nighthawks: this is who you are in the dark For all the chaos we see on a seemingly daily basis in the games industry of 2026, good things are still happening. One of my favourite trends is the resurgence... https://moegamer.net/2026/10/01/nighthawks-this-is-who-you-are-in-the-dark/
