For the 2nd day in a row, Los Angeles and San Diego set a record for highest coastal water levels in over a century of records. The all-time top-10 records for L.A. and San Diego are now dominated by 2026 (yellow highlights). Many more records to come this year. @edwardsanthonyb.bsky.social

Let’s all pre-order @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.social ‘s MUSK documentary. It’s essential viewing and certain “powers that be” want it to disappear.

THIS SHOULD BE GETTING MORE ATTENTION Wedgewood Polls admitted that the vast majority of its election polls were based on fabricated data. And these major news orgs fell for it: The New York Times, POLITICO, Newsweek, MS NOW, The Hill, The Daily Beast & Breitbart.

Kudos to NBC New York for saying it without equivocation: "The US is to blame for the world falling behind in the fight against climate change."

We would save a lot of time and really get to the business at hand if we could stop dancing around the fact that what's happening with Yglesias, Neera Tanden, the Democrats and their stewards and subordinates at large, is an attempt to maintain power and wealth gained from wealth class partnerships.

This was a fantastic listen, esp following @ghostpanther.bsky.social with meteorological insight & expertise. It sucks trying to do work on climate in the US and this really drives home how unpopular it is to talk about it atm. Our years of blindly ignoring the crisis are coming to an end.

Part of the answer to "how did we get here?" is that many major journalists—since 1998, Crawford has covered SCOTUS for PBS, ABC, and CBS—are lying bigots. Here Crawford is praising a guy who asked a dumb racist question, glitched out when asked why, then admitted he wanted a Christian theocracy.
