Genuinely bemused by this question. Forgetting the million and one other things you could do with your life: I know I will NEVER manage to see all the TV and films I want before I die. How is it possible to have watched everything you’re interested in?!

Ed Miliband did not kick off about not being a One Direction video for Comic Relief when Cameron was. Some things (for charity!) can have a Prime Minister without it being a partisan issue

🚨 NEW: Reform and the Tories have called for Channel 4 to invite Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch to Gogglebox after Andy Burnham was confirmed to appear tomorrow night Tory Source: “It’s Channel 4’s job to ensure political balance”

John Wick was going to be called Scorn but Keanu loved the name so much he kept calling the film John Wick, and they ran with it.

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

I can't speak to the weirdness of Nashville, but the original flavour 9-1-1 is gloriously trashy fun. Cannot wait for the season with the bee tornado! (Also - nearly 20 episodes a year for nearly 10 years, this is what people say they want!)

i've been spending a lot of time in century-old newspapers over the past few years and it's hard to overstate just how much they remind me of the social internet - punchy, full of topical humor and catchphrases (what we now call memes), incredibly racist, smothered in ads.

Absolutely adoring Farscape, which is a first time watch. The aliens are weird AF, it's horny, there are puppets done by The Jim Henson Company, and it's made me feel things. I mean look at this mfer. What more could one ask for?

A definite sign of ageing is that you cannot impress me with "over 20 years" anymore. Am I expected to think this sauce is ancient, because it's as old as Nelly Furtado's Maneater?

I reposted the original, might as well repost the milkshake ducking

I'm sorry, an AI guy telling you "The wool is being pulled over your eyes" while simultaneously owning a huge ass yarn factory will never not be funny. You're literally part of the problem my guy.

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

There's a universe, like, two doors over where he's just a bitchy old queen living in a gorgeous UES penthouse with a handsome, buff, much younger man, and everybody in his building hates his guts, but I have never heard his name, not once.

My favourite Celebrity Traitors was the 1904 series when Wilbur Wright and Marie Curie tried to murder WG Grace but they couldn't because he had a shield.

You were there for both the Charleston craze and the release of The Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim, but you have no opportunity to dance.

I've got a good idea for how the BBC should pick the live action show's next showrunner. Ask them how this show fits into canon. If they give any answer other than 'what on earth are you talking about?' 'who cares?' or 'grow up', they are immediately disqualified:

I don't want to hand it to Mark Zuckerberg and, in fact, should absolutely not, but he _could_, in theory, respond to this with "I sleep in a big bed with my wife."

And what real man wants to be on a platform filled with GIRLS?!?! EW GROSS

Iʼm two episodes into The Fall of the House of Usher (Netflix) but would highly recommend it for anyone looking for horror to watch this month. Forget the Edgar Allan Poe references, the premise is: Succession but you get to watch them all die horribly.

After a few monthsʼ break so I forgot the details, a reread and revising it from start to finish, I felt good enough about The Novel that I have sent it to three friends. Itʼs a nerve-racking experience and thatʼs *before* I try to decipher their feedback to uncover how shit they really think it is

My new yearʼs resolution in January was to take the idea for a novel I had and actually write it. Always compelled by a looming deadline, I finally finished this week. Whether itʼs any good is, frankly, a question for next year.

I regret every joke I’ve made about how our elected officials were so old they didn’t know how to use a computer. I would give anything for another administration that doesn’t know how to use a computer

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

hello im the CEO and i can’t do anything without the support of the simpering vizier that lives in the computer. in order to keep collecting an offensively meager paycheck you too must consult the vizier regularly. don’t worry he has lots of uses other than just hopefully putting you out of a job
