Emoji reactions in Claude are weirdly great? Thought it was a gimmick at first but it really does allow conversations to feel more organic.

Bunch more features and fixes as well! If you've been enjoying Skyreader, consider becoming a supporter to help ongoing development and get cool extra features (file uploads! email newsletters! saved searches! my eternal love and affection!) skyreader.app/supporter

Use your favorite RSS app that supports the FreshRSS API with Skyreader. bsky.app/profile/disn...

Tim Disney@disnetdev.com

You can now use @skyreader.app in other clients that support the FreshRSS API like NetNewsWire, Reeder, etc! Works for RSS, newsletters, and @standard.site publications. Subs, read status, and saves all stay in sync. See the docs for getting it set up: docs.skyreader.app/guide/other-...

Making connections is the best way to deepen your knowledge so now Skyreader reminds you to make a @semble.so connection at the end of articles you read. The link menu also now has an option to make a connection so you can form connections as you read.

We get a subexponential time algorithm for 3SAT and apparently the models couldn’t even find one little cryptanalysis result. I guess cryptographers have just been killing it!

Introducing #Assemblage 🧡 Add @semble.so cards and collections and @margin.at annotations to an infinite canvas, draw connections between them to create context, expand your understanding and see the bigger picture! → assemblage.renderg.host #ATscience 🧪 #ATmosphere 🌀 #ATproto 🪿 #ATberlin 🧶

assemblage.renderg.hostAssemblage — Draw ConclusionsTurn your Semble collections into a node graph. Connect cards as supports, opposes, leads to and more, then draw conclusions. No server: every change is written to your own AT Protocol PDS.

Did you know YouTube works great in Skyreader? Timestamped transcripts auto-advance as you watch (great for making highlights) and allow you to quickly jump around.

Hi, we're HappyProto. We help you build on atproto... without the hard parts. You create the app, we'll run the backend: auth, private data, scripting, and an API over 46 million accounts. Welcome to atproto on easy mode. Join the waitlist at happyproto.at. #atproto

New @skyreader.app feature: you can now save and read PDFs/EPUBs! PDFs can be viewed in their original layout or with text reflow when supported (great for mobile). EPUBs display by default in paged mode and look great everywhere. Highlighting and notes work great for both.

Your saved articles, PDFs, and EPUBs can now be organized into collections on the new Shelf view to make it easy to keep track of your reading. The old Saved view has been renamed the Queue for the classic inbox/archive read-it-later workflow.

Okay frick it, I'm announcing the project I've been working on. It's called Reams, a markdown editor that syncs over atproto spaces. It works offline, doesn't require a login, and has a bunch of features packed in. Try it at reams.ink, install the PWA for the best experience!

This is the first part of a 2 part post on why I believe that current AI models meet my criteria for really "thinking" and "understanding," and that prohibitions on using these words because they "anthropomorphize" AI seem philosophically confused to me. blog.andymasley.com/p/why-i-beli...

bulk link extraction is so cool! need that for @skyreader.app :)

Semble@semble.so

Easily save or connect links directly in the article by hovering over them (or long press on mobile). Alternatively, you can pull up a list of all links in the article for a quick reference.

Say hello to Semble Reader 📖 🤓 An in-app article reading experience designed for focus and link foraging 🌱 🫐 Available for all links on the Semble page by clicking the 'Reader' button in the top left corner.

New in @skyreader.app: links from the people you follow on Bluesky! Similar to Nuzzel (rip) and the excellent @sill.social, Skyreader can now read your Bluesky timeline and find the links people you follow are sharing so you can read cool things without spending all your time on the timeline.

I've always hated that mainstream languages don't have macros as powerful as lisp macros. So I'm doing my small part to fix that. First an argument why we need them. jimmyhmiller.com/change-our-l... Second a library to add them to typescript sweetener-ts.github.io

I'm very grateful to have been entrusted with @erlend.sh's Discourse payout to keep me above water while working on this, and with that narrow $1.5k/month runway I've worked harder than I ever have. That money's run out now, so please know that if you're in a position to support us at all
