This year I teamed up with @kevinkelly.bsky.social and David Rumsey to make v2 of The Speed of the Earth for Burning Man, a mile-long visualization of the Earth's rotation. I'm very pleased with how it came out! It's peaceful out there by the trash fence.

Reiterating that Musk's literal voter bribery last time was an unambiguous go-directly-to-jail felony, for which people have been successfully prosecuted over vastly smaller amounts. It wasn't just pouring money into a PAC, whatever one thinks of that. It was a black-letter plain-as-day crime.
