can’t think of a better example of AI being mostly a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist also it can’t help when this is your user base
Just saw someone say their AI runs their fantasy football team and I can’t stop laughing. Like, I’m sure everyone’s doing it or something but it’s very funny to me that pretending to be a team manager was so hard that you needed to pretend to pretend to be a team manager

The article is an interesting cultural artifact because it really drives home shifts in media consumption. I have not heard of "Choosin' Texas" because I do not have a TV for TV news or a radio to listen to music somebody else picked. I have a computer and phone instead.
This kind of take made a Rolling Stone writer so mad they wrote a whole piece about it.

a catch is when a possession consists of at least one football move, unless there is first intent that can clearly be observed. the if the intent is observed concurrently with the possession, the ball carrier must first establish zone in space. zone in space is an acquiescence of one's football self

don't get me wrong, i love the pleasures of the flesh! but it's always fun when people get back from Camp Pleasures of the Flesh and start posting like "transcendent love in human connection… the ephemeral beauty of movement and sound…" of course you had fun, you were at Camp Pleasures of the Flesh!

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.

There is going to come a time in your life when you are chatting with a guy, at a barbecue or something, a new coworker maybe, a dad at school drop off, and he tells you he used to be in ICE. You’re going to need to spit on that guy
Minnesota: "School officials say the [5-year-old] child was used as bait. They say [ICE] agents made little Liam knock on the door to ask to be let in in order to see if anyone else was home."
