it feels truly insane that it’s not

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

The idea that something is now a nonnegotiable because it is widely used is absurd. I am 45. Do you have any idea how much and how often the consumer landscape has changed over the course of my life? Demand, rules, infrastructure—all of these things change.

It was always confusing to me that Nazism was so homoerotic while also being venomously, violentlyanti-gay & I didn’t expect to live through a period that would explain it to me

Q: Why did you post Tom Cotton's phone number? TRUMP: We want to get away from this ridiculous custom of twice a year turning clocks back... Tom Cotton is holding it up. You know who wants it? Farmers. Sports wants it. They would like to play tennis at night, would like to play golf a little bit

NEW MOUSE JUST DROPPED!!!!!!!!

After 20 years of research, scientists have formally described Mus dumbara, a new spiny mouse species endemic to Sri Lanka’s Knuckles Mountain Range. First lured by burnt coconut in 2004, the elusive rodent highlights the island's overlooked small-mammal biodiversity. Story by Malaka Rodrigo.

I’ve been rewatching the X-Files monster of the week episodes and it’s great for nostalgia and PNW scenery and as blueprint of where we went off the rails conspiracy-wise but man — them agents straight-up murder at least one person in basically every episode.

And yeah maybe Googs should revisit their policy but so far this is two names out of millions on the map. Which again is pulled from database sources, not manually hand coded. I don’t love the way Googs has conducted itself lately but oddly I think this in particular is a good corporate choice

That precedent wouldn’t be for capitulation but about opening up debate over every disputed territory on earth if they override this one. I don’t like it being named Lake America in the US either! But your anger should be directed at the people who changed the official gov name.

The fundraising texts you delete are working on someone. It’s infuriating and heartbreaking. An 85yo in Ohio gave more than double the value of his home. A 91yo in an Indianapolis senior facility gave 25K times. The DCCC/DSCC don’t just tolerate the spammers who exploit seniors. They take part.
