Okay can we please get a steam deck restock? Like I get it new hardware is cool. But the one thing you have built this hardware around is not available. Should of put your ram towards the Deck before new hardware.

Please add Norway. Come on Valve! It’s more than ten years now, we have to import for ourselves for a big premium to get any of your gear.

What good is the "Wishlist" if I didn't get a notification when it was available? I'd have bought it immediately if I'd known. End of the day, out of stock aready.

Managed to snag mine ~2 mins before release, looking forward to testing those comfy big back buttons and the pads! Fingers crossed that the Frame is next and that my trigger finger is as capable when the time comes xD Will be grabbing the machine as well for fam, tho price dependent

The Deck wasn't stressful at all, you had a couple of days to reserve it with a couple of moneys while the Index was different story.

you should probably go back to doing pre-orders so you can actually judge how many you need to make and let people actually be able to buy it without having a single hour to spam "continue" to win the server stress lottery

With Steam Deck they had a way more smooth system with preorders, queue, etc. I guess they didn't expect that kind of run for a mere gamepad. I really hope the Steam Frame launch will be more smooth…

Valve, please let me put down a deposit so I have a place in line! I don't want to have to wait an indefinite period before scalpers beat me to the punch again!

Any plans to deal with the infestation of Nazis all over Steam's discussion boards and reviews, or are y'all just going to keep on hoping nobody notices?

valve, please, i’m begging on my hands and knees, open up backorders so i can at least get a spot in line to get it. i got the payment error for 20 minutes before stock ran out :(

Don't buy scalped controllers or you are the problem. Full stop. "No cap" as the kids today say. "Periodt" as their now aging gen Z parents who are beginning to learn what being old feels like used to say.

The second the buy button was available I was trying to purchase it, for 30 minutes it refused to take my money with an error. Then it was sold out after that 🫠… naive of me to think I could buy a product I like.

I couldn't fucking order one today. For half an hour I tried. It kept giving me "problem with your transaction" error with PayPal and even with my Debit card. I know I have the money. You fuckers owe me a damn controller.

How can a company with as much money and as many resources as Valve screw this up this badly? This happened with the Steam Deck and you learned NOTHING. Countless existing customers have wasted hours trying to buy this damn controller and got nothing. Now scalpers are selling them for $200+.

You told me to wait a few minutes and try again. You told me that right up until it was out of stock. Losing out because I tried to follow the directions is not a good feeling.

A small part of me is laughing at people struggling to give away their disposable income. The other 90% of me is sad because I want one too but $100 is just a little too much to spend rn. If they keep up production and it eventually goes on a steam sale I'll be there though.

$100 new. Lots of additional features compared to original. I got the first controller back when they were selling them for like $20 on sale. So it's not a fair comparison imo.

Was in immediately at 10, just got error message after error message till even it showed sold out. Very shitty experience. I hope you guys figure out a queue system cause this was terrible.

Absolutely dogshit launch. You had such a good a system for the deck when it came to slowly rolling out purchases, why would you go back to something this server heavy when you already know the payment page can't handle it? The scalpers are happy ig.

Just want to say I was about to give up when I saw they were out of stock, but when I saw your message I kept at it, was able to get one. Just want to say that your my hero today lol.

This post is how I found out about this, and now I want one. (Yes, on linux, too. I probably show up in your stats as Windows more often than not, but I'd love to make that number drift downnnnn :))

Seeing all the newly listed postings on Ebay for the controller at 200-300+ dollars makes my blood boil... Hopefully Valve can restock soon so no one feels pressured to buy from scalpers

Cancel everyone's pre-order that has more than 1. This is just bullshit. And yeah too bad for large families, idc, they're in the minority, most people who purchase a lot do it for the sake of selling it further.
