For some reason the rotate css isn't applying. There's another post on here where someone added tailwind classes. Not sure if it'll fix it, but the classes are: "group-hover:rotate-[-5deg] group-focus:rotate-[-5deg] transition-transform duration-500"

TBH Bluesky ought to adopt that angle on the butterfly; the existing alignment gives off major Rorschach or dead-insect-pinned-to-board vibes 🤷

Ha! Well, I very deliberately transition away from, but then back to, the original orientation so that it remains faithful. But the angle and the ever-so slightly asymmetric flutter was meant to feel organic and "life like". I'm glad you like it

The icon does not "flutter" for me. It only turns a bit to the left, no other animations, unlike in the video. Tested in Firefox, Chrome, Safari on macOS (all most recent stable versions) Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for the hint. macOS allows to set reduced motion system wide and this propagates to all browsers (a bit impressive btw). Now the butterfly flutters :)
