I tested my mom‘s pendant—her med scope, her fall detection. I do it every three months to make sure the battery works. Normally it’s an operator that takes the phone call. This time it was an artificial intelligence that answered the line. This is a catastrophe waiting to happen—a fucking lawsuit.

I just don’t play video games anymore. I’ve lost all interest and they don’t do anything for me. They just feel like a waste of time and I have so many things I need to get done. I don’t even watch fucking movies anymore.

Stalling on the book's ending. I've been creating roleplay scenarios with ChatGPT based in the SCP universe to flesh out my character personalities. Gives me a free canvas to practice certain interactions and to dial in character history and psychological profiles. #Writing #Novel #Author #Tip

So I’ve taken up boxing and I’ve been there two days now. Disheartening to know my cardio sucks and I’m the first one to drop but man I’m dry heaving by the end of the session.

I just remembered making this sad ass lullaby a month ago when I was trying to think of the worst thing that would get me to cry for --story ideas. Just to reiterate the message: I WARN YOU NOW, SAD AS SHIT. DON'T GET PISSED AT ME IF YOU READ PAST THIS POINT! (Fuckers ❤).

Writer-tip: If you're struggling with character dialogue, bouncing around between different mindsets, have ChatGPT roleplay as one character and you as the other. Just see what happens, it might help break that wall.

"I'm not looking for pity. I deserve the pain. Don't argue. Pain isn't always a bad thing. It's one of life's greatest teachers." Bro, what the fuck. I'm just randomly typing shit, practicing different viewpoints in a role-play and I type something profound. #writing #creativewriting

Starting to realize and come to the conclusion that a lot of my negative personality traits are a result of childhood abuse. I still love my parents and family; I understand why they did it, but it still damaged me.

I will role-play with AI, creative writing exercises to give me ideas and sometimes it slaps! “These tears,” she says quietly, her tone laced with admiration, “are a sign of strength, little brother. They’re proof of the battles you’ve fought and survived. Let them fall; they are yours to release.”

Evidently I hate myself because I’m making myself read every single sad depressing story I can as ammunition for writing my book. Most of my day has been crying and honestly, I think this is the happiest. I’ve felt in a long time. I must’ve had a lot bottled up.

I discovered that if I write in the third person first, it becomes easier to narrate and paint the scene without having to think of character thoughts or dialogue. Then once it's done, I go back and change it all to a first person point of view in present/past tense. Yay. 😃 #writing #books #book

This might be a controversial opinion, but I believe the ending of a book is the most important thing outside of an opening hook. I sometimes write story endings first, then the middle, and lastly the start. The ending has to stick, but the beginning can be any generic Hollywood opener you want.

Me: Alexa, how much is left on my timer? Alexa: You all have one year, 76 days, 11 hours, 14 minutes left on your timer. Me: What? On my pasta timer? Alexa: Oh. Sorry. You have one minute left on your pasta timer. Me: Alexa: Me: What was that other timer? Alexa: Alexa: Would you like to hear a joke?

I’ve currently been obsessed with a story I made. I’m turning it into a book and I just finished chapter 2. It’s a story of grief, trauma, family, revenge, and identity. It will touch on topics of suicide, rape, and torture. None of it will be shock value. Everything happens for a reason.

What if freedom of will is an illusion? What if life is pre-fated to end up where we are? Out of all the trillions of decisions we make throughout our lives, with the feeling of CHOOSING, what we don't see is that all roads intersect and merge till they reach the end. Death. 1/3

So with that logic why not have all the roads intersect to come to a specific pre-ordained path in your life. Where it FEELS like you are choosing, but in reality you are being shepherded to your true purpose in life. Whatever that even means. 2/3

Path of Exile 2 is the reason why I haven’t been studying JavaScript for the past week. I want to get to endgame to see what it’s like and by the time I get back to my studies I’m gonna have to do a refresher course lol

Many beginners learning to code who decide to go the HTML, CSS, and Javascript route find that the cruising speed they had in HTML and CSS dramatically SLOWS DOWN or even stops once Javascript comes into the conversation. 🧵⤵️

Did my first light sparring session today and I got complimented on my footwork and movement so that makes me feel really good about all the effort I’ve been putting in! Now I just need to work on my cardio lol.

I sprained my foot over the weekend trying to re-create the pendulum step from Soviet era boxing. However, I think I’m starting to figure it out and get the rhythm down. I just need to work on my stamina now.

So I learned about template literals the other day, but it just now sunk in. Why the hell would I ever concatenate with '+' when I can just use a template literal '' to concatenate for me? I just need to remember to add ${} to interpolate variables into strings. #Javascript

I’m working on body conditioning so I had a friend punch me in the stomach several times with boxing gloves so I could get a feel for it. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!

I started incorporating shadowboxing into my workout since it’s too cold to go for a run. I only did two minute bouts for about five sets with two minute rests in between and my body is sore today lol. I was practicing the Dempsey roll into a liver shot or upper cut while bouncing on my feet.
