Post

i love these posts and i will look forward to them every year from now on. never give up

From the still thumbnail, I thought they were some very colorful fungi. I legit squeaked in joy when I saw them moving!

Scallops are the silliest creatures on earth this is beautiful

It had genuinely never occurred to me that scallops much reproduce in some way. I did not expect that. (I'm aware that thats stupid - of course the reproduce and must 'grow'. I'd just never thought about it!)

“This person posts the same creature every year!” I have never before seen scallops so small, or so colorful. Thank you for posting this every year!

Crunchy fruity pebbles...

Is this real? I thought they went backwards when they moved!

I had no idea they were so beautiful. Or that they moved so fast.

At first I thought. "F*CK, the colonies are moving! Get the autoclave!" But then I realised it's not the usual Petri dish I am used to. ~ Very cute, thanks for sharing!

Forbidden Konpeito.

They look like tiny, mobile autumn leaves.

Beautiful creatures ...

Those are some adorable baby birds!

They're so fast!

Wait so Clamoo the giant oyster is just, like... a normal size oyster 😳

I thought those were beads until they started moving. How cool

A handful of Fruity Pebbles? Don't mind if I do!

Wait, all those seashells are alive?

Little living confettis!

I never considered baby scallops both had shells of their own and would be that tiny

hmm well that was a jarring intrusive thought adorable shell guys!!!!

Like a live-action SpongeBob scene.

They are beautiful!

I shouldn’t be surprised that the creator of Spongebob was absolutely fr with the baby scallop just looking like a mini scallop. He was a marine biologist, after all.

Okay, those are just adorable.

I have never seen scallops move in my entire life! That is, oddly enough, fuckin cute as hell! I could watch this all day!

Where are they from?

Beautiful tasty looking Flintstone Flakes 😛

My guess would be tiny barnacles

Those beautiful blue, blueberry-like things are sensory organs that detect light, like eyes.

They're so small.. 😭💜

For some reason opposite of this is what I pictured baby scallops to look like. I thought something like frogles and tatters.

Woah... Lil baby shelders...

Very cute

*Instantly melts from cuteness*

This is the best thing I saw today. thanks.
