The "large scale social deception" contract Musk is conspiracizing about was: * first awarded under Trump * paid to Reuters' data division, not the newsroom * for researching *defenses* against deception * not revealed by "DOGE investigations" and was a public record, visible online for many years

Musk is either too dumb to know what he is reading or so reckless that he will say things he should reasonably know are false or he’s just straight up lying about it. It’s time he appears before Congress and testifies under oath.

These bullet points are interesting to us hyper-political nerds, but reaction by avg voter will be “I ain’t reading all that”. Elon spent 5 years building an exploding truck and now he’s trying to sell it to our brave men/women in the military. That’s a much more effective talking point.

Point being we need to find things Musk/Trump are sensitive to and beat those points to death. As soon as the $400M upcoming CyberTruck purchase was discovered Musk went and changed the description, revealing that he thinks it is a losing issue. bsky.app/profile/bobb...

Interesting: the State Department’s procurement forecast detailing a $400 million order for "armored Tesla" has now been edited to "armored electric vehicles." The document shows the edit was made tonight at 9:12 p.m. -- after it was highlighted in reports

And now the party that notoriously doesn’t care about bad press has made a change because they think it looks bad. bsky.app/profile/nyti...

What’s Trumps weakness? Just stop talking to him when Musk is around. “Pres Musk” is funny, but actually acting “as-if” would be much more effective. If reporters just stopped asking Trump questions it would drive him nuts.

Do we need real media to stop telling us what Musk says, and just report that Musk lied again? Confine their lies to their State controlled media outlets? Be a true alternative? Stop reporting his claims unless independently verified?

oh wait, are you saying elon & his lord-of-flies pack don't understand DATA, let alone the concept of public data, opengov, and foia rules aka "knowledge and experience"...?? say it isn't so! don't they know everything?!? isn't mtg their den mother? are you saying they've not been raised well...?!

DJT wouldn't have any idea. He doesn't give the slightest 💩to whatever some idiot tells him to sign. Sometimes he does, if there is direct personal interest in the transactn purpose, or rarely, if he believes he had an original moment of brilliance such as when he popularized the term "groceries".

The absolute stupidest boy.

This was such a hoot. Like, I'm sure there is some 'mockingbird' style stuff happening around the edges, but the thought that they would just cut a check on the public docket titled 'Lies & Deception' or something is astonishing rube behavior.

Thank you for paying attention and keeping people who still care about the truth informed. The default stance should be to assume all information coming from inherently-corrupt fascist regimes are lies, distortions, and propaganda. But it's good to have receipts.

See if Musk "reveals" all the contracts with cable TV companies that the US government maintains primarily so MAGA Members of Congress and the Department of Defense can run Fox News in their offices and waiting rooms. That's the expensive social deception plot Musk will ignore.

Unfortunately your post saying the truth will get 64 views And his deception will get hundreds of thousands of views The X algorithm pumping his nonsense out It’s so frustrating

Musk attention span is 5 lines of text. Reuters is also Canadian. While there will be US based investigative projects, he’s on a mission to take over Canada, like his grandfather.

Part of me thinks "Yes, please, start going after defense spending, you absolute moron", but we may just really be completely through the looking glass at this point. Literally nothing these fuckers try to get away with is over the line.

Literally just picking stuff he thinks is woke & stuff that goes against his interests, & nixing them out, & lying about it. In Oval yesterday he said mistakes were made. He's doing it on PURPOSE, Just as he's lied on Twitter for years now. Getting ppl fired up about things that don't exsist.

DJT actually believes Elon to be a particularly smart individual. That on its own is damaging. It seems he also thought "asylum seekers" were people cut loose from an insane asylum, visa's were actual govt issued credit cards, magnets are neutralized with water, windmills cause cancer, ignoring cri

This is an area of security research known as "social engineering": getting an insider person to do something such as clicking on a link in an email that loaded a piece of malware. Remember how the Russians were able download the DNC emails? Someone clicked on a link they should not have.

"When the People realize their full power, there will be power for the People. Injustice is unsustainable" People are not going to take this #coup lying down. If that's what #Trump and #Musk et al. are banking on, perhaps, they need to rethink that. #MuskTakeover #Anonymous #FAFO #DOGE #TrumpAdmin

Wonder if it went out for bid, & if Musk had access to what others bid. So he could under bid them. It was probably before he had access to the systems or I would say he found out that way. Still conflict of interest. I had a boss get arrested by TX Rangers for similar at a state agency.

Also worth pointing out that TRSS is a data analytics consulting BU within the broader Reuters conglomerate that has nothing to do with the news media side of the business, which he is insinuating was the ultimate target of said funds.

Everything is so dumb all the time and it’s exhausting. I cannot decide if they’re brazenly dishonest or blisteringly stupid. It’s like they discovered the US was funding “large scale offensive operations” in France during WWII. “They even called it ‘Operation Overlord’ it must be really bad”

Reporter: You said an example of fraud that you have cited was $50 million of condoms was sent to Gaza but after a fact-check apparently it was Gaza in Mozambique meant to protect them against HIV.  Musk: First of all, some of the things I say will be incorrect

I'd expect Musk and Trump, two of the largest dissemenators of bald face lies to behave like this, aka make up the defiant statement without doing due dillagence to ensure what they say is factual. That's how the duche bags of government evil roll.

I repeat: either that „genius“ is not even capable of reading and understanding simple information or he is actively disseminating disinformation for a very specific target audience of limited capabilities. Probably both.

The grift just flows in wherever there are cracks. He impulsively says what he believes is the most productive in the immediate tactical sense. Sometimes it’s stupid, sometimes radically dishonest. Sometimes both! He’ll double down regardless.

Just like when he commented on the cave at OPM for retirement records that the Washington Post covered in 2014. I didn't know about it until his post, but I am sure Congress and federal government employees could ID wastes if they were asked

Thanks for explaining. I figured this was BS the first time I head of it. Reuters does good reporting, but as news services go, Reuters is the blandest of the bland. I'd don't think they know how to be slick enough to run a deception operation.

Anyone else buy that shit when Reuters is pretty damned reasonable reporting? Social deception. That's hilarious. One day y'all are going to have to play a new game cause this "blame everyone for what I'm doing" is OLD.

Thompson Reuters, a tech conglomerate, owns Reuters. Everything doge says is misleading at best. He should really ask the other president what it was all about.

My government contract says it's for "doing crimes and hurting children" but actually that's the contractor field because my legal name rules and there's nothing they can do about it since I was the lowest bid
