Why’d you turn off replies on your layoffs post? Seems like you’re actually “taking things lightly” because you don’t want any criticism. Cause I can 100 percent guarantee that none of the higher ups at your company were part of the layoffs. “We’re a family” until moneys concerned right?

Now we just habe to know when the cutoff is and they get the money for sales and other stuff. Then we can buy the games again to support them. 😅

Genuine question, if you can answer, but will revenue from previous Double Fine games go directly to you now, and if so, how soon until those sales only benefit you and not also MS? I have not purchased Keeper or Kiln yet but I absolutely will right away if it goes entirely to helping fund you.

So glad you're sticking around and retaining all your IP ownership. DF is an institution of gaming. Keep fighting on! 💪🏾

Sad news, of course, but I was honestly worried DF was facing a shut down. Hope you guys can find a sustainable way to keep going for many years and games to come.

Terrible day, but glad to see the studio regain independence. Have always been a massive fan, and happy today I will continue to be for the future. All the best to the amazing talents at DF; Can't wait to see what fun projects you release.

Hopefully this is good for you guys in the long run, though obviously you made the jump to Microsoft ownershop for a reason. Ready a confusingly worded sentance on the IGN article about ownership of the Psychonauts IP... do you guys still own it?

Massive sigh of relief! I am so glad to see this news - and hope to see these lovely worlds & characters again (Twig needs her own game, Psychonauts 3, must see everybody in there obv, and the next transformational building adventure should go to deep space, or play with scale in ridiculous ways).

Good to see nothing gets closed. I wish you luck with your way forward but also holy shit please don't work 5 years on 2 hour games no matter how good Keeper is to me. You have a too long history to just fizzle out.

You know I will be there to support wherever yall head next! Best of luck, and I'll have my eyes on the next games as usual! Hope Kiln won't be too affected by this! Much love and respect, Tim and Double Finers! ❤️

So friggin happy to hear this 😮‍💨🥳🙌🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻 ps - everyone please go buy Psychonauts 1 and 2, costume quest 1 and 2, brutal legend, kiln and any others you want in celebration 💪🏻

Well, that was a stressfully-silent couple of weeks!! When you fellas didn't promote Kiln's recent update on the socials I feared a more-somber statement was being prepared! >_< ...So, what now? Might I suggest holding a paper-football tournament in the office...? Could lighten the mood a bit! =)

Everything old can be new again! And we will buy it. Perhaps a collab with the newly revived Commodore 64? I know many artists who would love to put in sweat equity to help keep you afloat even as an animation service studio. Oooor “Release the dio cut!” of brutal legend on ps5? Would!

My favorite studio who made some of my favorite games. I'm happy to hear that things seem to be working out, and please never leave me. :D

I bet this felt like Christmas for all the OG employees who had to go through the process of being acquired by an enormous corporation. The exact opposite feeling to the seeking hopelessness that comes when a huge company starts enshitifying the small unique company you’ve come to love.

Welcome back to the indie scene! <3 If I purchase a game like Psychonauts 2 right now would the money go to you guys or will MS be gobbling it up? (I dunno if they keep the money from releasing the game, this stuff can be quite confusing). I wanna support you guys first and foremost :)

hi y'all! i've been trying to reach out to you via your pr email but haven't heard anything back. i'm a local reporter hoping to speak to you guys about this - please let me know if that might be possible. many thanks!
