In retrospect, "animated series based on live action movies" was a load bearing sub-genre of cartoons. Even if they weren't good, studios greenlighting 52 episode show orders of stuff like this meant a healthier industry.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this. Half of me is like, okay. The other half has just given up gaming as a hobby, sold all possessions for charity and dived off the highest cliff and into an active volcano. Then climbed out and did it again, just to be sure.

fun fact: they found the original digital master tapes of all the Reboot episodes that we previously only had in VHS quality, refurbished the extremely rare and expensive tape machines required to play the masters, and are currently uploading them to youtube for free in 1080p! youtu.be/inKdUICLmXY
