Kushner and Trump didn’t “plant stories about meeting with Jeffries to sow division.” You have to give up on these cathartic storylines that make you feel better about what’s actually happening: the parties, as presently constituted, on behalf of the same wealth and oligarchical classes.

I'm far past feeling the need to defend people who celebrate the deaths of ghouls. We live under overt fascism. The regime hunts people in the streets. We are talking about political actors so foul that no moral reconciliation is possible. They can only be defeated. Mourning them is a betrayal.

Democrats have made it quite clear we have to replace most of them if we are going to actually fight Republicans and billionaires and the rest of this fascist menace, so let's go. The more "radical" the better. The more socialist the better.

every time you see a headline that begins with “we have to,” replace the “we” with “you” and you’ll immediately understand the purpose of the piece and the power dynamics at play

Art is a conversation with the human soul. AI is a conversation with the oligarchy's souless world poisoning machines who are designed to do one thing, sequester a greater share of our dwindling resources to the dragon's hoard of the oligarchs.

Yes it could be argued that keeping up with world events is important but alternatively can I interest you in hugging an ancient mossy boulder that looks like a face and quietly listening while it tells you stories from centuries cloaked in mist.

“what radicalized you?” idk I just think we shouldn’t be killing citizens, sending people to concentration camps, bankrupting people for healthcare, letting children starve, endangering women’s health, abducting world leaders, stealing foreign resources, or villainizing marginalized communities

REMINDER: War Crimes committed on soil of a signature nation to the International Criminal court expose those committing crimes to the jurisdiction of the ICC--even if their own country is not a member. Venezuela is a member of the ICC. Thus, Trump can and MUST be prosecuted at The Hague

"Reproductive freedom should be sacrosanct" and "we should tax women who refuse to breed" are not in fact mutually compatible statements.

I hope every country in the world boycotts and shuns trade and travel with the US, divests every penny from US investments, and bans travel to their countries by US citizens. If the US wants isolationism, let us rot alone. We deserve to fail.

jeff is correct but there is an even darker, underlying evil on the board. the actual goal here is to classify *our existence* as mental illness. "should trannies be allowed to have guns" is a door they want to open because it requires "trans == ill". this is a signpost on the road to genocide.

Selectively revoking constitutional rights for vulnerable minority groups is a GIGANTIC red flag. The reddest possible flag.

The phrase “ parents have a legitimate concern about integration of races in schools and as a party, we haven’t done a very good job of listening to those concerns.” would shock and offend I would hope. A similar statement about trans kids should also shock and offend.

We missed our window when Biden and Garland waited until campaign season to investigate Trump for his coup. He should have been arrested on Jan. 21 2021 and held incommunicado with access only to lawyers. Biden and Garland will be viewed on par with Weimar as historically inept in the face of nazism

people will say life is a roller coaster, but i don't think that's true. it's more like one of those kids rides where they give you a steering wheel to turn, but no matter how you turn the wheel, you keep slowly going in circles until everything stops
