CI pipelines would be so good if you could use a real programming language for them. You seriously expect me to write a concurrent, distributed system with cache invalidation in Bash? No thank you.

Do I look like an accountant

Zach Weinersmith@zachweinersmith.bsky.social

Are we gonna do this, Bluesky? Are we all just gonna not understand accounting? 72B$ of the 80B$ is convertible notes. They became greater liabilities because the company's valuation skyrocketed. They don't have an 80B$ loss in the sense that almost everyone here is imagining.

atuin v18.20 is out now! 🐒 - sync is 32x faster and uses way less bandwidth - the installer now logs you in, so a new machine (or sandbox) has your full history almost instantly - syntax highlighting on Windows, PowerShell, and Illumos read all about it: blog.atuin.sh/making-atuin...

blog.atuin.shMaking Atuin sync 32x faster with packfilesAtuin sync is now 32x faster. We sync many thousands of records in single-digit seconds.

Utmost respect for maintainers of large FOSS projects, maintaining even a small project is already so tiring, I don't know how they manage it. Sponsor them if you can, even small amounts help get their spirits up.

The entire logic seems to be that &T is covariant and &mut T is invariant; and *const T corresponds to &T and *mut T corresponds to &mut T so they have the same variances. But this leads to situations like Box<T> using *const T under the hood since it needs to be covariant

As much as I make it my mission to call out the rise of generalized hate against men, I will obviously also NEVER EVER tolerate hate against women or any other gender. ALL gender-based hate is despicable and drives us away from achieving a better society!
