incredible strategic error by Pat McAfee to reveal he is deeply bothered by relatively mild mockery from college students despite a key component of his job being "standing on a stage in front of college students for 3 hours a week"

College kids across America need to band together to release more banal nonsense so he can go on past Kirk and compare himself to MLK, JFK, Lincoln, Jesus, Saints, etc just for the Lols.

If Viper goes below the hard deck, that should count as a kill for Maverick - per the rules of the game, he has been chased into crashing into the ground.

But Maverick never got a lock! Yes, I'm sure the Navy will be very upset when Maverick takes out a MiG while also saving a missile.

I gave to a candidate who passed the list on and some number of steps later a candidate changed parties so I get texts from both parties… In a state where I haven’t lived for three years.

Do they even understand how much they’re pissing people off by doing this. Whatever research that convinces them that spamming everyone is all upside is bullshit. It is like they’d rather have all my contact info to sell to other campaigns forever than receive my donation. It sucks.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

I really don't think folks who weren't there grasp just how much these generations really were shamed or even prosecuted for stuff that giant companies do all the time now like ffs, websites used to shame people for 𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 images without paying the site that hosted it for their bandwidth!

This one is meaningful to me as my daughter posed for the reference using the SAME yellow wrap Ang used for Brainstorm back in 1999! Also, (with thanks to Scott M Fischer for loaning me his compressor) the old airbrush came out of retirement for the glowing glyphs, just as I'd done back in '99! 🎨

Skip to the final paragraph but in short, if no one goes for x and no one goes for y and no one goes for z, why does anyone go at all?

This is how I want to die.
