Lol the US just abandoned their effort to get mad at the guy that threw Bolsonaro in prison. Big "my toddler tantrum didn't get me nothing so we're done here" energy. *US REMOVES BRAZIL'S MORAES FROM SANCTIONS LIST *US ALSO DELETES VIVIANE BARCI DE MORAES FROM SANCTIONS LIST

When Canada deepens ties with China, it's not romance, it's risk management. If the U.S. keeps slapping tariffs and rewriting rules, partners diversify. Reliability is an economic asset; squander it, and trade flows and influence quietly move elsewhere.

When Mark Carney sets specific goals for Canada to "diversify away" from its reliance on the US—making headlines in Canada but not the US—hear that for what it is: Close partners and allies looking elsewhere for better friends. This is the silent way that the US loses its pointless trade war.

I wrote a piece recently about how Trump, Putin, Musk and the rest are actually fellow citizens of a borderless, lawless society designed to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else. Politics and patriotism are just a cover.

The crisis isn’t refugees. It’s not that one person committed one tragic crime and killed one other person. The crisis isn’t that America’s 250-year old history of hosting immigrants turned out to be a mistake. The crisis is that STEPHEN MILLER, a hateful little maggot, controls the government.

Saying "vaccines are safe" is an irrelevant detail when you voted to hand all of the US government's health organizations over to someone who adamantly insists they are not.

NEWS: During a hearing in federal court in VA, prosecutors confirmed that the operative indictment in the case against James Comey was never shown to or voted on by the entire grand jury before it was presented in open court. Defense counsel argued that’s a complete bar to further prosecution

Some news: tomorrow at 9am, Ted Koppel + CBS Sunday Morning will air a two-part story on the devastating surge of full-time workers being pushed into homelessness. I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

In CA, Prop 50 will pass by well over 65%. For comparison, Harris won CA by 59%, with 71% of registered voting or 15.25m. A projected 10.7m voted yesterday- more than 50% of eligible voters! This is a stunning turnout for an off year election with only a single proposition on the ballot! Let’s go!

One caller on NJ 101.5 FM said he was a 25 year R voter, stood in the booth intending to vote for Citarelli, and couldn't. Because SNAP loss affected him. The shutdown got him screwed up, and he said he couldn't do it. Voted Sherrill. I think this repeated in a lot of booths.

If you think Trump deploying troops in American cities is nothing more than an opportunity to pivot to a completely different subject, you do not belong in Democratic leadership.

The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful. Here’s a thought. Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

The larger-than-usual downward revision last month was in large part driven by a negative skew in the job growth distribution among late reporting firms. That’s unusual, but it’s happened before when the pace of job growth slows rapidly. This print is more evidence that was the case

It would be scary if Dr. Oz actually believes this. Many countries, notably India and China, hugely understated their Covid deaths. In the case of India, it had 4.7 million excess deaths, compared to 533,000 reported Covid deaths en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-1... I trust Dr. Oz is just lying.

reminder that something like 232,000 (per a peer reviewed study) of the US Covid deaths were Delta-wave vaccine refusers. These dupes were sacrificial pawns the conservative movement weaponized in order to sustain the pandemic and try to damage the Biden economy in 2021:

They would have a great deal of lattitude to tack right if they were handing down rulings exhibiting some kind of coherent conservative judicial philosophy. But a series of unexplained ipse dixit orders that amount to “Trump wins because we said so” isn’t going to hold up forever.

I often talk about the fact that MAGA does not access the same news as the left wing. I present to you Exhibit A. Dr. Daskalakis’ resignation letter excoriated RFK Jr. and shared that RFK Jr. was lying to the public, manipulating data, and ordering unethical actions. This what Fox News served.
