Not including JJBA Steel Ball Run is crazy. At least give it an honorable mention. This is why it matters that Netflix continually ruins the momentum for Jojo with its haphazard airing dates
Rowling is an awful person who sucks, but this actual article is about two (2) authors who implicitly wished violence against her by quoting Gretchen Felker-Martin, who had explicitly wished violence against her. Donβt do this!
Istg every other Gundam official artwork these days acts like it's Pacific Rim or Transformers. Including the recent movie. Thankfully Gundam Sentinel is safe from this
I really dislike how these mic and headset tech companies become less user friendly every year. This SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P wireless headset is garbage. Partly because of Sonar (regardless if it's turned off) and partly because my Elgato Wave 3 mic is what controls my audio.

They both want to split my audio. I have to have my headset receiver plugged into the front of my PC to avoid most of the conflict. Today there was conflict regardless and I missed an online appt because of it. I updated the drivers for both of them and I had to reboot my PC 3x to "fix" the issue.
Bloomberg:
Epic Games is going all in on AI as an unannounced shooter featuring Marvel & Star Wars characters is implementing an "AI first" production model "generated with full AI workflows".
"No more hand-written code", said one of the directors to staff.

You know I try to keep an open mind. The ending for Steel ball Run could've been by Creepy Nuts, which might've been ok with Araki. Instead we got a bad rapper with chatgpt style lyrics. They could've done Roundabout again and that would be fine. Hiroyuki Omori was taken away from us too soon π’

Crunchyroll is destroying its subtitles for no good reason
daiz.moe/crunchyroll-...
A ton of research and effort went into this one. This is the article to read to get to the bottom of Crunchyroll's subtitle changes!

Maybe this is just me, but I dislike how so many anime opening songs seem to contain significant spoilers e.g. how a main character has new scars. Now I'm just going to be aware that something traumatic happens to them later and not be surprised
Just finished watching Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky, which was good overall, but also heart wrenching. It's about a college student named Kakeru and a blind girl her named Koharu that start hanging out inbetween classes. If you're not prepared to sob like a baby this show isn't for you.
This might be my personal preference, but the main critique I have for this anime is the pacing. It goes too fast and the show deserved 24 eps imo. I don't blame the studio, but I do blame the anime industry. I'm at least glad we're getting some representation for people with disabilities
Tweed is such a brilliant fabric. If only west coast weather permitted it for more than one month in winter here. Maybe more realistically a week. Thanks to climate change
Tweed is such a beautiful fabric to wear this time of year because it produces, in Dolly Parton's phrasing, a coat of many colors. Even a solid-colored brown is not just brown, but bits of red, blue, and yellow to produce something that looks lifted off the Scottish landscape.
Well, I went to the vet to get my cats their routine check up. Now I'm buried in vet bills. Since one of them needed blood testing to see if he has an immunodeficiency disorder. Since he has severe gum disease. The older cat needs a dental cleaning, but the worse part is her chronic vomiting. π«
They got their shots at least, but I didn't need this extra stress. I'm still unemployed. Eventually I could be on temporary disability, but not any time soon. Obviously I'm still looking for work, but it's dry af here
As someone heavily invested into the mental health and how brains work, it's so frustrating how people don't understand how destruction words are. Not only that language shapes our behavior, thoughts and how we treat others. Derogatory language is equivalent to punching someone. 1/2
So, if someone fights back after you used a slur without remorse. Don't be surprised if you get punched back. It's one thing to use derogatory language without knowing and another to be indifferent, or malicious about it. 2/2
It's like this for streaming as well. If you're not pumping out content like a machine you're irrelevant to the community at large. According to websites like Twitch anyways
It even feels this way for writing. I feel because I'm not constantly sharing snippets, teasers, character art, etc, I'm completely irrelevant and no one remembers I exist or that I write.
Well, I was enjoying watching The Gentleman season 2, but after that ending I'm not so sure anymore. I think the director/writer cares more about shock value than good writing, but maybe that's just me.
This is why I can't recommend the 0079 movies to anyone as a first watch. It's devoid of emotion. At least half of the time. The emotional depth just isn't there
THIS HOWEVER IS AN ARGUMENT BETWEEN A MAN WHO THINKS THE MILITARY IS BETTER WITH TRAINED SOLDIERS AND SOMEONE WHO THINKS YOU JUST CAN'T PASS UP ON AN ESPER PILOT BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO GOOD!
it sucks EVERY ounce of empathy or care for amuro out of the scene and makes BOTH of them other him!
They fired so many artists over this too. People who helped make the game iconic were tossed out on the street because the Slop Faucet could do it "decent enough".
If you still play Fortnite, you're funding the hyper-acceleration of AI replacing Artists in Gaming
After watching ZZ Gundam a few/couple months ago. It's wild to me that people in the gunpla community often said "you can skip it". I think this coincides with what Tomino said about some fans being war otakus
you shouldnβt skip zz because the whole Gundam team is so good and everyone should love them but also because there is important Hathaway Noa lore and also also because it reveals that Hamanβs hair is not Just Like That and instead absolutely takes like 2 hours to do every day
this kept resonating with me as I read those awful quotes about how they're trying to water down the ideology of gundam into simply fun conflict. instantly turned on this game. no recovery possible
I'm glad people are enjoying Rogue Orbit, but to call it "real Gundam" is disingenuous at best. I'm sure it's a good game to some, but I'd rather play Armored Core or maybe Super Robot Wars. Rogue Orbit removes all the themes that are Gundam e.g. human conflict
Sony seems to think they're immune to bad press. Every 6 months there's much less reason to support them at all. I'll just be a PC gamer forever I guess
I just watched Gundam Hathaway's Flash Part II and it felt like watching Gundam have an identity crisis. I don't want to give spoilers. So, I'll just say it felt like the production team wanted to be Hollywood. It wasn't a bad Gundam movie. Just weird in tone. I wonder what Tomino would say
I live for the art we get to see after each Ghost in the Shell episode. Next week is the last one π’Illustrations are done by Shingo Natsume and Kazuchika Kise
