Still a mediocre software engineer, father and husband. I aspire to be a mediocre hockey player.

Another good year. SSX Tricky Red Faction Silent Hill 2 Gran Turismo 3 GTA3 Strong showing with Metal Gear Solid 2, Max Payne being close. Twisted Metal Black was also a lot of fun in multiplayer IIRC

A weird change that has taken place in my lifetime is that in the past, British racists were aware of what mixed-race people were and were furious about it, as opposed to the New Racism, which frequently seems actively confused by the birds and the bees.
I remember many yrs ago one of my regular customers asked another of my regular customers "I seen you in Shields th other day with a couple of [racial slur] teenagers, what was that about that?" And the other guy replied "Do you mean my fucking grandchildren?" Never seen a man visibly shrink so fast
Silent Hill! Aliens Versus Predator Homeworld Urban Chaos Freespace 2 This feels like a really good year. Or I have played far more of the games from this year as I was at Uni and used to rent games out from the local video shop, lol.

Frankly there is quite a lot since the fag end of the 70s. Gay rights are on a different stratosphere to what they were back then Wedding equality is here. Prominent gay figures exist. Society is not perfect, and homophobia still exists, but major TV presenters are gay, Cabinet ministers are too.
Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

Had this idea in lockdown, half-built it, forgot about it, remembered it again, though might as well finish it.

I'm being sued for $795m. By a fugitive fraudster. In Wyoming. Using an anti-Mafia law. The full strange story is here, with links to all the original court documents: buff.ly/uwnZCHY

We are gonna hear a lot about Theranos & Holmes. ⚠️ Documentaries are a powerful art form that can also mislead. I haven't seen this doc yet, but...👇 Key: I was a Theranos whistleblower. In ‘You Can See Everything,’ Elizabeth Holmes is still lying www.statnews.com/2026/10/19/e...
I'm not sure why this should be a big deal for people. I'm aware I was accidental, being much younger than my 2 brothers. But I grew up loved and cared for, so it really made no difference in reality. Unless there's something else going on, I struggle to see the issue.
When I was in my teens, my mother informed me that my youngest brother was an accident. I have no idea why she chose to tell me this and I really hate knowing it.
Have recently reread LOTR, but this feed gives a good sense of the time passing. Strider managed to keep completely inexperienced hobbits safe in the wilderness for 2 weeks whilst mostly evading the Nazgul. Reading that is 1 thing, but seeing the events pop up time based is fascinating.
Leaving the hobbits concealed, Strider steps out on to the Last Bridge. There are no Nazgûl. He finds the beryl stone that Glorfindel left two days ago. Strider leads the hobbits across the bridge, then off the Road into the stony hills to its north.

It's quite funny to me that in comparison, I found this article just which says the fact the average age of the UK parliament is 50 proves that "it" is a gerontocracy. www.nakedpolitics.co.uk/parliament-h...

Nearly but not quite equalled my worst proposed film with a supernatural spin on the Raunchiness this time Honeymoon — Career ender, 11/100, $55M tentpolegame.com/m/buyj9kIVQf5A
This game is fun, but my chaotic thoughts win, and I just try to find the most bizarre combination Don't know what it says. My Raunchy Body Horror, directed by the guy who did "Magnum force" could be a winner Honeymoon of the Flesh — Career ender, 8/100, $40M tentpolegame.com/m/rnvZf4vQcyTo
