THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE.

I don’t want to live in a reality TV show. I want actual reality. Truth. Even when it’s hard to hear, give me the truth.

Isn’t the point of due process to figure out whether someone violated the law in the first place?

Shannon Watts@shannonrwatts.bsky.social

Indiana congresswoman says, “You violated the law, you don’t get due process.” These are the same lawmakers who oppose Red Flag Laws because they don’t provide armed domestic abusers with … due process.

Mahmoud Khalil is a legal, permanent U.S. resident and is granted protection under the First Amendment. He is currently being detained without being charged with a crime. The reason for his arrest was due to his political speech. This is a violation of the First Amendment.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Trump folk talking about disrespect, really? Trump insults people constantly, gtfo. Zelenskyy gave you infinitely more respect than you deserve.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Mike Waltz on Zelenskyy: "Coming to the Oval Office with the body language, the shaking of head, the arms crossed -- we just found it incredibly disrespectful."

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

Today, along with 150+ colleagues, I'm demanding that Secretary Scott Bessent protect the sensitive data of Americans and revoke Elon’s illegal access to the US Treasury Department’s payment system.

Rep. Sean Casten@casten.house.gov

🚨 NEWS: I led over 150 House Democrats in a letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent demanding answers on Elon Musk's unprecedented access to US citizen's private data and Treasury payment systems.

A few weeks ago nobody cared about the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Trump doesn’t fix problems. He creates them out of thin air.

The bishop asking Trump to have compassion and empathy was rude because psychopaths are incapable of doing that. It’s ableist, you see?

It’s not about Trump supporters. It’s about giving the 75m people who DIDNT VOTE something to vote for Legitimate discussions on this platform offer that path

“Matter of Fact”@oceanviews.bsky.social

It's only powerful if the Trump Supporters are reading what we see and communicating with questions.

14th Amendment: No person shall … hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, … who, having previously taken an oath, … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

Special Counsel Jack Smith: "Until Mr. Trump obstructed it, this democratic process had operated in a peaceful and orderly manner for more than 130 years."

Special Counsel Jack Smith: “Evidence from a variety of sources established that Mr. Trump knew that there was no outcome-determinative fraud in the 2020 election, that many of the specific claims he made were untrue, and that he had lost the election.”

Special Counsel Jack Smith: “substantial evidence demonstrates that Mr. Trump then engaged in an unprecedented criminal effort to overturn the legitimate results of the election in order to retain power."

Special Counsel Jack Smith: “In 2020, then-President Donald J. Trump ran for reelection against Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Mr. Trump lost.”

I don't know who needs to hear this (me, probably) but it's ok to just stop using platforms and products made by shitty and unethical people without worrying about whether you're single-handedly making any sort of difference

Took me 18 days to go from 200 followers to 300. Basically still linear growth.
