Two groups of people who are completely full of shit: Gaza protestors who only appear when Kamala Harris appears. People who are vocal and loud telling others to “do something”, while they don’t do shit!

1. It was not an accident. 2. It was not a staffer. 3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia. 4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares. 5. His base agrees with him. 6. He will do it again. 7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

Arresting journalists. Good God.

Georgia Fort, an independent journalist and vice president of the Minnesota NABJ chapter, was also arrested by federal agents this morning I was sent this video of agents at her door:

trying to self-reflect on the many times in the past i have failed to empathize and stand with black americans as they experienced what us white folks are feeling for the first time under this regime. i failed to see and respect them. i have a lot to make up for. i hope others can do the same

I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

"It seems like a blessing" for right wing fanatics to commit murder as retribution. Except he's actually calling for an internal bloodbath on the right. Of course, his cult can't see that because all the focus has been on declaring the left is responsible for what happened to a truly ugly person.

“It seems like a blessing from the highest levels of government and the highest positions of power for vigilantes or those who are extremely upset about what happened to Charlie Kirk to go out and take some sort of vengeance or retribution on those that they see as responsible..."

People missing an important point about folks getting fired for whatever they said about Charlie Kirk: Americans are being conditioned to be snitches on their fellow citizens who don’t toe a party line on what is “allowed” to be expressed. And employers are going along. It’s the new secret police

Below are the 30 U.S. cities with at least 100,000 residents that had the highest number of crimes against people, per 100,000, according to the latest FBI data report. Goodness, Washington, D.C., forgot to be included! JD Vance & Jim Jordon's Ohio makes a stellar showing. Heck of a job on crime!

Just in case it’s not already clear that ICE is a white supremacist thug army, Homeland Security is recruiting with a “defend your culture” slogan.

What a stunning tragedy that 77 million Americans — people who are far more privileged than most human beings who have ever walked the Earth — chose to piss it all away in worship of a sexually predatory, pathologically dishonest, fascist criminal.

At this point, if you think the Democrats aren’t fighting back with literally everything they have, you are choosing not to pay attention and you want Republicans to win

Americans are telling Congress to NOT give a $4.5 billion tax break to billionaires. I’m listening to The People. I joined the Congressional Black Caucus in speaking out against the Big, Ugly Bill that steals from hardworking people to give more to the wealthy few.

Wore my OG “I didn’t vote to cut off your Medicaid/SNAP or have masked ICE gestapo kidnap you and your kid in the middle of the night cuz I love democracy and know how shit works” hat to my store run at lunch cuz I felt like it😘

Based on her roll-call voting record, Kamala Harris is the second-most liberal Democratic Senator to serve in the Senate in the 21st century.

Refusing to meet with the Parliamentarian to discuss if your accounting scheme violates the rules amounts to overruling her. The GOP is going nuclear to get its tax breaks for the rich.

An eye-opening/Joker moment for me last year was explaining to a relative that the lies about Haitians were sourced from Literal Nazis, with the express aim of deporting children back to Poverty & Death, and being met with: “Well Biden still shouldn’t have sent them there” (Ohio; he didn’t).

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social

NEW: DHS's claim that TPS for Haiti was terminated because DHS thinks Haiti is now "safe for Haitian citizens to return to" is FALSE. According to the termination published in the Federal Register, the ONLY explanation Noem gave is that letting Haitians have TPS was "not in the national interest."

Marco Rubio needs to be asked whether he believes his grandfather who remained in the U.S. after receiving a deportation order from our govt should have been treated the way the father of 3 Marines was treated by ICE this weekend in California. ASK HIM. Make him confront his lack of character.

Sherrilyn Ifill@sifill.bsky.social

So video of this 2012 interview is popping up on other sites. Feels super relevant at the moment. Wait for the moment Rubio gets pinned to the wall about his grandfather’s deportation order… (h/t @reuben_reyñoso)

And so the United States goes to war with Iran without so much as a by your leave to the American people. No statement, other than on social media; no notice to Congress; no serious deliberation. This is the stuff of autocrats. Disgraceful.

Mahmoud Khalil is finally home with his beautiful wife and newborn son. Each one of the 104 days he spent detained was a grave injustice. From the moment of his detention, @ccrjustice.org + @aclu.org engaged my office as we worked closely to help secure his release. They did remarkable work here.
